Mucho furro recomendado ah y buen combate

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Maybe Dust is meant for kids but it's so simple I could feel my mind frying from lack of any meaningful challenge. If you invest all your gems into strength early on you can easily one shot most enemies and bosses just melt. It's the kind of design where they fill the screen with enemies but all of them are completely useless so combat just ends up feeling button mashey. The only thing that even comes close to a challenge are some of the environmental hazards that are more a test of patience than anything else. The floaty feel of the physics doesn't do the game any favors either. As bad as the combat is what's worse is that Dust is meant to be a metroidvania but it takes too long to start finding abilities to open up exploration. The way navigation is designed doesn't help. Level layout isn't represented well by the map making the onscreen map practically useless and diving into the options menu to check the map can be a chore in a game like this.
PROS: - Fun - Cool story CONS: - There are furries in this game
I suck at Metroidvanias. The fact that this game gives an in-game option to lower the difficulty to be able to enjoy the game from a casual perspective; That is why I highly recommend this game it is so beautiful and the combat is incredibly engaging. I couldn't stop playing it I was stuck on the game all the way to the end.
Very Worth it. I remember watching a lot of videos of this game back when it was still somewhat new. I forgot about it for a long while until my brain assaulted me with the memory of teal creature of dubious species and an orange batcat-thing, and so my hand was forced to finally buy and give it a proper try. It is a good game, an easy one, relatively short, but deeply enjoyable. The combat system is spammy, but it rewards keeping up your combo meter for as long as you can, and since combat makes you feel like a proper ninja cat zipping through the air, I feel like it balances the potentially spammy nature with spectacle. There's also timed parries, the timing is forgiving and opens up enemies for counterattacks, making you feel pretty good about pulling it off. The exploration is another high point, the scenery is enjoyable and well-drawn and there's plenty of treasure to discover, so there's incentive to look around the levels. If you're crafty you can even reach places earlier than you're supposed to by cleverly using your aerial attacks. Story is more a personal matter, but I really enjoyed it. It's not complicated, it doesn't tie itself into knots while juggling heavy themes and establishing deep lore. It's a straightforward tale, with a little bit of twist, centering around likable characters. Dust is cool and Fidget is cute, give it a try if you're curious about it.
Um jogo visualmente lindo, com ótima jogabilidade e boa trilha sonora. Só faltou uma tradução PT-BR pra ficar perfeito.
For a game with such critical acclaim, I'm really surprised by how poor this one played and felt. I slogged through this game to finish it off and get the associated achievements and thankfully I'll never have to play it again. Coming from Ori and the Blind Forest, I expected a really in-depth metroidvania experience but what I got felt like an indie game devs first project fresh out of uni (and this isn't a solo dev, it was a small local team) The power unlocks are a good example of this. Normally you'd beat a boss or do something important to unlock a new power or traversal ability, but here you'll just randomly come across them as you play, you'll unlock double jump, slide and your other mechanics as you walk through the story, there's no thematic reason as to WHY you get them, with no dialog between fidget and dust, you just get them and move on. There's so many half baked systems, like the crafting system. You can make multiple pieces of gear but they all feel pointless, it's just more random stats with no visuals and poor descriptions. I think I crafted 3-4 pieces in my entire playthrough on hard mode. You'll collect randomly the crafted items so it all felt under baked. The health system has you constantly spamming food with the L1 button, the health Regen is mostly non existent (only coming in at a trickle later) and there's no health recovery between chapters or even during level ups? So many times I was super low on health and had to spam eat 20+ items directly from my inventory just to get my health back (which felt like Skyrim, you shoveling 20 cheeses in to recover) I really disliked the super cringe dialog between dust and fidget, it felt super off-putting and nowhere along this dozen hour journey did I actually grow to like these characters. I get this was an indie game but you'd think the writing would have gotten a decent pass during development, apparently not. The combat itself just felt spammy, you'll do huge combos, especially with the dust specific moves on the Y button, but overall it's just exceptionally basic. The only combat moves you'll unlock will be different projectiles Fidget can shoot out. Im glad I only paid a few bucks for this one because it feels like something you'd pick up on the Epic Game Store for free. If you're looking for a well balanced, polished and exciting metroidvania experience, this one isn't it 👎🏻
The game, in principle, is average — I wouldn’t consider it unique or a hidden gem. For much of the time, boredom was the dominant feeling. Combat is repetitive and lacks creativity; boss fights are simple and end quickly, except for the main boss. Overall, the game’s quality improves in the final quarter. The game is classified as a Metroidvania, but it doesn’t truly fit that genre, since such classification implies revisiting areas at least once — something that’s never actually needed here; it’s purely optional and mostly a waste of time. The visuals are very beautiful, and the voice acting is quite good. All in all, it doesn’t deserve more than 6/10.
Hood Classic honestly, Miss heartfelt 2010's furry projects like this. I remember picking up TwoKinds (omg old lol) around the same time as first playing this :'3 Originally played dust on console, and i don't think there's any issues i can remember with this version. Replayed it recently here again and I remember just why it's stuck with me all this time, cheesy and charming. Impressive combat animations, lovely characters and just generally fun to play. Despite contrasting visual mediums it all blends very well together in an airy dreamlike way. and like the soundtrack has some standout stuff i feel like i appreciate more than i did back during my original play-through. I also owe this game for one of my oldest meaningful online friendships too :p
