Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Regular crashes and softlocks with little to no improvements made. Better to buy the GoG version as to not support such a lazy enhanced edition.
I've put over 40 hours of gameplay into this title over the past couple of weeks. I'm a huge 3.5e nerd, started playing AD&D 2e in 1998, bought 3.0e the day the PHB launched, played 3.5e for over a decade, and absolutely love western CRPGs, clocking thousands of hours in Baldur's Gate I & II, Icewind Dale, and (most importantly) Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. I wanted to like this game, I really did. I read the "mostly negative" reviews and thought of it as a challenge to overcome -- predicting that, over time, the game would be patched into something stable, and the real density of mechanics (which I took for granted would exist) would eventually reverse the staggeringly pessimistic view of this game. I assured myself that there would be an ample supply of community-made mods to patch up the glaring inadequacies of the title before Aspyre eventually improved the QoL and general stability of the release. But here's the issue: it's not the bugs, or the laggy netcode, or the instability (like how loading a multiplayer game with cause a reliable CTD if you don't load a single-player game first), or the janky camera, or the delayed controls, or the completely checked-out developer. No, it's the absolutely atrocious, half-a$$ed, unfinished, embarrassingly poor implementation of 3.5e mechanics. There's almost no respect for 3.5e RAW. Most spells have bug lists on the wiki which are longer than the spell descriptors. Precision damage doesn't proc while flanking. There are so many feats, spells, and abilities that don't work even close to how they're supposed to, it's not even worth listing, but ♥♥♥♥ it, here's a few: Blindsense, Frenzy, Hidieous Laughter, Sneak Attacks, Freedom of Movement, Devil's Sight, Hideous Blow, Charm, Confusion, Evard's Black Tentacles, bonuses of different types almost never stack, excessively limited stat bonus stacking, Deep Slumber. The list goes on and on. Spell descriptors and abilities descriptors have almost no bearing on what actually happens in the game. It's very easy to pick a prestige class to acquire one ability, only to find out that ability either doesn't work as described, or doesn't do anything at all. There are mods which are supposed to "fix" these problems, but half of them haven't been ported to the EE, and the other half only resolve some of the issues in exchange for other issues (and haven't been updated or maintained in nearly a decade). Does this game have any redeeming qualities? Well... maybe? Kinda? The characters are fun in the original campaign, and I've heard Mask of the Betrayer is exceptionally well written. Is it worth the time to see these things? The effort pushing through all the broken, half-finished, janky garbage for eighty or more hours just to see some good CRPG writing from the mid-aughties? Not to mention the ludicrous cost of this garbage port? No, I don't think it is. Not unless this release gets some serious love and care, which I don't think is ever going to happen. This game was dead on launch in 2007, dead on relaunch, and it's never coming back. A shame for sure, because it deserved to be something which rivaled the quality and entertainment value of its namesake, but that day never came, and isn't coming in the future, as far as I can tell.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition
Do nut buy this game, it barely work! I bought the game when it released, played for some 30 hours and had a decent time with it. However, it crashed quite often, probably 10-15 times, among other issues like my GPU (5080) running at a million spins per second for this ugly ass 2006 game. I had to framecap it through Nvidia control panel, so it didn't fry. There's no option in game to frame cap. But - I could play, however annoying the semi-frequent crashes were. About 30 hours in, issues seemed more frequent, so I put the game down for almost a year, hoping that patches would fix some of the crash issues. There has since been a few hotfixes, so I picked the game up again, since I really wanted to finish it this summer, a year post release. It's worse than ever before. Now the game crashes all the damn time. I've tried every possible solution on forums, steam discussions, even mods as a last resort that supposedly fix most of the bugs and crashes. I restarted on a fresh install, but it took less than an hour for load screen crashes to start appearing again frequently. I was devastated, since I really wanted to finish the game. Let me be absolutely clear: DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION OF THE GAME. It barely works. Lucky for me, I remembered I owned a non "enhanced" version on Good Old Games (gog.com). The Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete Edition. I went to gog.com to check reviews there and was positively surprised when I read a few comments about how it more or less works. I chanced it and installed. I don't know what wizardry they've done with the old version on gog, the old version also being notoriously buggy and bad at running on newer systems. I installed through Gog Galaxy (their app) and it installed different windows frameworks, old direct-x files and similar programs, which gave me hope. And sure enough - I was in the game, albeit without the "enhanced" features, which are barely noticeable anyway. I had to restart, and after playing for about 15 hours with no issues, I could relax. I finished the game through the old gog.com version in about 50 hours and loved it. I experienced maybe 2 crashes in total. I'm buzzing to continue the expansions, which are also included. I won't say much about the game - it's good. If you like Neverwinter Nights, you'd like this if it actually worked. A solid 9/10 for me. Decent story, a lot of good 3.5 edition D&D combat and some nifty systems that other games from this era don't have, like interesting crafting and a stronghold system late in the game. Buy the old Complete Edition on Gog instead of this scam - or keep an eye on the reviews to see if they finally fix it at some point. It being over a year since launch, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Why is this game even allowed on the store? All the negative reviews are correct about everything. A massive pile of game halting/crashing bugs that are absent from the original version AND the GOG version all marketed as an enhanced edition with no real discernible updates outside of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller support feature. Be for real.
If you are going to remaster a broken game you are supposed to fix it at least somewhat.
I loved NWN2 back in the day, so I was excited to play the enhanced edition. Unfortunately, it is so buggy that it is literally unplayable. At the end of both the orc campaigns in act one (the save the Water Deep Emissary quest) the game failed to launch critical interactions at the end of both the campaigns. I spent hours hours trying various script in the developer console, but none worked. The game seemed like it was going to let me advance the story anyway but that was not the case. Interacting with Callum at Owl's Well didn't drop experience points or close/complete the quest, so no dialog option to advance the game with the City Watch at Neverwinter. Boom. End of the line. Like I said, I spent hours online trying various tricks in the developer console to no avail. I tried starting the game from an earlier save and redoing the campaigns but ran into the same issue. I'm out.
I want to start off by saying I love this game. I've been playing it since November of 2006. But I can't recommend it. To start off, there are a few things that this version does that are a plus. First off textures do look better than the original version, especially in 2k or 4k resolution. It's not something I could pinpoint in screenshots, but it is noticeable when you switch between NWN2: Complete and NWN2:EE. You can just tell that the original game was designed for 1024x768 resolution. It's also, nice as an older gamer, to not have to wear my reading glasses when reading ingame text. Second, it's nice to have a functional server browser. Third, the controller support is a great addition to the game. These positive aspects do not outweigh the issues that this game has. One issue which is a problem for all versions is the length of the original campaign. I've heard some youtuber describe it as a 60 hour campaign that should have been 20 hours at most, and I couldn't agree more with that sentiment. Thankfully, the expansion campaigns are shorter than the OC. But the biggest issue I've had is specific to this version. The game is not as stable as the Complete version on GOG.com. Being an older game, the autosaves are few and far between, so you'll want to hit quicksave often. It's really frustrating to crash and come back to an autosave from an hour ago. If you just want to try out the game, wait for the complete version to go on sale on gog.com. The only way I could recommend the EE version is if you want to play the game with other people without having to use third party mods and utilities.
I would love to play this game. Too many bugs and crashes to make it enjoyable. Hopefully we get more updates in the future to address these.
Crash to desktop within the first 2 hours of gameplay. In a section that every single player would reach. I've also had the game pause during cutscenes with no way to unpause except crash the game. NWN 2 was one of my favorite games. It is outrageous to see it treated so poorly. I don't know how you release a game, or maintain a game in that state, but ring the SHAME BELL for this.
This EE might not be that Enhanced, and doesn't offer new content, but currently the game is in a pretty good state. Most if not all major bugs seem to have been fixed. The only major bug I encountered was the game freezes when paused during a cutscene, but thankfully it has been fixed in the recent update. Do I wish there was new content added and more actual enhancements? Yeah, but since NWN 2 was a great game, this alone make this game a good game as it is now in its current state. Hopefully in the future there will be new content or more enhancements added to the game, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it. I would pay for new official content for the game if it was any good.
