I can, and CANNOT recommend this game. I GENUINELY love this game, and will support it as I go. I will buy the content, but for those that are really pushed away by bugs, do NOT get this game. I love the series, but it's been bogged down by a series of bugs that have really been... Ubiquitous through almost all of the games in the series. Controls over buffs/spells/potions: 1) If you cast spells too fast, they don't fire. You actually need to wait for an arbitrary 1 second cooldown. This also applies to potions. 2) When holding spells, if you left click on your minimap to relocate to the area to cast it, it will autocast wherever you clicked regardless. This also applies to potions. 3) When trying to place spells, potions, or effects, the map REALLY gets in the way, as you cannot drop it on unwalkable terrain. This is REALLY important, and problematic when you need to heal, shield, or cast a damaging spell when there is significant danger to your troops, but it's a cramped area. This has resulted in several defeats as I couldn't shield/heal/buff my allies, or interrupt/damage my enemies. It's *bad* 4) Potions... Potions, potions, potions... They're very useful, and sometimes nearly critical on more difficult maps, but they have the SAME problem as spells. That, and when you drop them, sometimes their location will just... Arbitrarily Move a few meters away, causing you to miss completely. UI/Control issues: 1) Scrolling in the community maps is absurdly difficult. This applies to all menus in the game, and scrolling, clicking, dragging is... Unresponsive, and requires very specific areas to click on, or it simply won't respond. 2) Trying to pick up units in dangerous moments in order to micro-control (micro) your units to keep them alive is beyond difficult. You have to be SO precise when clicking, or just accept the fact that you have to resign yourself to hold-clicking, and mass-pickup, thus creating different issues. 3) When clicking several times, there's many times where you'll either under purchase, or over purchase. Or it will make the sound that you DID purchase, but the purchase didn't go through. 4) When pressing F to attack-move (or a-move) it resets all their attacks, and orders, even if it's attack move regardless. 5) Trying to rightclick enemies to force-target (such as assassin, mage, bombardier, or priestess), just like picking up and micro'ing your own units, you have to be SUPER precise, or you just walk to an area, and lose a bunch of units, or take unnessecary damage. 6) There NEEDS to be a button in the dungeon to SELECT your units, and NOT pick them up. Unfortunately, there isn't, that I'm aware of. 7) Stats on the wild mobs underground, (Spiders, lava elementals, etc.) need to have more than just "hp" stat. You cannot click them to watch, or see if they have armor, or their damage. You can't really plan around damage, except to be reactive, and quick-clicking... (AND HYPER-ACCURATE) This game is HILARIOUS, fun, wild, a ride, and just so super fun. If you can get over those issues, dear god you can put in HUNDREDS of hours without realizing it. However, unless you can't get over those bugs, OR sit down for up to 2 and a half hours, this game is NOT for you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good'ol Dungeon game
Fun and satisfying to play. Simplified RTS + Simplified town management with fun theme. I recommend playing Dungeons 3 and 4. Lighthearted story with self-aware sense of humour. I find this game very relaxing.
I would not recommend this at full price. While the writing and voice-work is up to standards, there is a game play problem. There are unlockable skills in the campaign which require you to do something on a timer. The first time you play that scenario, especially if you are not familiar with all your units/rooms/research and need to read about them (which you CAN'T do while paused, you must read unit/research descriptions in real time) is going to be difficult. You likely won't be able to discern what, exactly you need to do in which order to achieve the objective in time to get your skill unlocked. Therefore you will need to play the scenario again (took me 1.5 hours to finish, now I need to go do it again). Once you know where the diamond is, which forces you need to fight first, which faction you should focus on, then you can play to win. I didn't want to buy a puzzle game that I have to do the same thing multiple times. Is there any reason I should expect to win the first time, every time? Well, no. But I shouldn't have to play the same thing over and over just because I didn't win the right way. Your way. Ever heard of railroading? So that's my review. The game campaign is kinda railroady.
Dungeons 2 is still the best in my opinion for being polished enough while having distinct seperate races of the horde. Having a hodgepodge is not as much fun as a dedicated undead or demonic army. That being said Dungeons 4 carries on the tradition -- solid voice acting with a few real laughs, a cozy atmosphere and predictable gameplay that fans will enjoy.
If you like Dungeon Keeper from the old days you can get this without any thoughts. You will have fun building a dungeon and slaying heroes. Gameplay is fun, slapping workers is fun, slaying heroes is fun.
Игра вышла не плохая, но Dungeons 2 и Dungeons 3 мне понравились намного больше. Юмор стал слишком тупой, миссии более нудными и не интересными, игра скорее понравилась чем нет, но брать лучше по большой скидке.
normal is hard because it screws you over on other things in some quest.
