Backed this on Kickstarter years ago, and only just recently finally got round to playing it! I've only beaten one boss so far (on my second attempt!). It's fun collecting cards and building your deck, seeing what works in what dungeon and your playstyle. There's lots of clever little synergies between cards and curios, providing you can find them. Also absolutely love the spritework and the music. It is a bit slow to start, but once you get the hang of things and start getting better cards, things will get easier and more fun. It also feels really good once you figure out ways to solve puzzle rooms, access locked rooms, and such!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dungeon Drafters is a game that combines the grid-based character movement of an SRPG with deckbuilding and card battling. Characters may be customized with an equippable item called a Curio and slotted tablets called Runes. Cards are categorized into separate colors, and your Runes determine which cards you can put into your deck. Cards with more powerful effects generally require more Runes dedicated to their specific color. For example, a card that shoots a fireball may require 1 red Rune, and a card that shoots multiple fireballs side-by-side may require 2 or 3 red Runes. I think Dungeon Drafters does a good job of making sure that each of the card colors has a distinct identity with little overlap. Red cards are good at inflicting direct damage. Blue cards excel at summoning helpers and manipulating the enemy side. Green cards allow you to move across the battlefield while drawing through your deck. Yellow cards offer great defense and indirect damage. And purple cards offer powerful effects with significant downsides to maneuver around. This makes sure that decks built using different colors really do have distinct styles of play and strategies to employ. The Rune system also rewards decks built with a single color by letting them use remaining Rune slots to confer bonuses or status immunities. I also appreciate the enemy variety in this game. Every enemy has distinct abilities and patterns that an observant player may use to plan their turns. Enemies even have varying degrees of "intelligence" when it comes to moving around the battlefield. For example, slimes will walk right into a lava tile placed by the player, but goblin soldiers will avoid walking directly into such an obvious trap. Chakram throwers will line up their shots and arc over walls, but ogres will throw objects and inflict splash damage even to their own allies (and sometimes miss the player entirely). It is clear that a lot of thought went into designing the behaviors of the enemies in this game. Dungeon Drafters is solid, but I have a few complaints. Navigating town to find shopkeeps and quest-givers is annoying because the in-town movement uses the same grid-based steps as dungeon floors, and you have to unlock fast-travel destinations through a side quest (I actually beat the final boss and never unlocked fast traveling). Most Curios are unlocked by sending an NPC to find one while you run through a dungeon, and which Curio you unlock is determined mostly by random chance. This makes collecting Curios a process that is slow and mostly out of your control. When looking up cards during deckbuilding, there are filters for almost every effect or keyword, so it makes the keywords that are missing from the filters (such as the "Grit" trigger effect) feel like very odd omissions, especially when activating those effects, such as the aforementioned "Grit", are part of questlines. Still, Dungeon Drafters a fun and well made. If you like card battling games or grid-based, turn-based battle systems, at least download the demo. You may find your experience very enjoyable.
I didn't like it at first but once I found an archetype I liked and started beating bosses I came around and am really enjoying it.
Very fun game for what it is. Pixel Art style is cool, tcg mechanics meld pretty well with the dungeon exploration theme, nothing super earth-shattering here, but it's a well-done indie with a good soundtrack, good visuals, and enough depth to the combat to keep you interested.
This Game is Absolutely incredible A MUST HAVE I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH I WANT MORE I 100% this game it is sooooo good from the playstyles of the different classes to the soundtrack to the graphics and the strategy it is soooo much fun PLEASE BUY THIS GAME
Fantastic Cardgame Dungeoncrawler.
