Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy disaster of a game
This could be good with more polish and more time cooking in the oven. At the moment, this feels like a reskinned car mechanic sim. The movement is clunky and some of the steps feel unnecessarily complicated. Make the movement more fluid, the parkour more seamless, and simplify the production aspect of the game and you'll have something. Its decent if you get it for cheap, not good get if you get it for full price. Would I recommend this? Not in its current state. If the devs improve the game so its more playable and fluid, then yes.
Drug Dealer Simulator 2 is an ambitious and unapologetically gritty simulation that expands the scope of its predecessor into a much broader, more systemic criminal sandbox. Developed by Byterunners and published by Movie Games S.A., the game shifts from a dense urban environment to the sprawling Caribbean island of Isla Sombra, a setting that immediately gives the sequel a stronger sense of scale and freedom. Rather than focusing purely on street-level dealing, the experience leans heavily into long-term planning, territorial expansion, and production logistics, positioning the player less as a petty criminal and more as an emerging cartel operator. From the very beginning, the game establishes a slow, methodical rhythm that defines much of its identity. Progress is not immediate, and success comes through patience and careful optimization rather than quick wins. You start with small operations, often limited to basic cultivation and low-risk distribution, learning the fundamentals of supply chains, client management, and risk mitigation. Time management becomes a central concern, as production cycles for different substances unfold gradually and demand constant attention. This deliberate pacing can feel heavy at first, but it reinforces the simulation’s focus on realism and long-term growth. The production systems are where Drug Dealer Simulator 2 truly shines. Growing, processing, and refining drugs involves multiple steps, each affecting quality, yield, and profitability. Decisions about equipment upgrades, lab placement, ingredient sourcing, and recipe experimentation all carry meaningful consequences. As your operation grows, you can branch into more complex substances that require tighter control and greater investment, turning the game into a layered management experience that rewards foresight and efficiency. The introduction of multiple currencies further deepens the economy, forcing players to think carefully about spending, laundering, and reinvestment. Exploration plays a larger role than in the original game, with Isla Sombra offering a mix of towns, rural areas, industrial zones, and hidden locations. Traversing the island emphasizes the scale of your operation but can also highlight some of the game’s rough edges. Long travel times and repeated routes occasionally slow momentum, especially during routine tasks. Still, the sense of place is strong, and the world feels reactive, populated by factions, militias, and NPCs whose behavior can disrupt even well-established plans. Territory control and relationships with local groups add strategic tension, making expansion feel earned rather than inevitable. Combat and direct confrontation exist but clearly take a backseat to management systems. Gunfights and raids are functional but lack the depth and polish found in the economic and production mechanics. These moments serve more as pressure points than as core gameplay pillars, reinforcing the idea that preparation and avoidance are often more effective than brute force. The real challenge lies in balancing growth with discretion, knowing when to push boundaries and when to consolidate. One of the most notable additions is cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to share responsibilities and divide tasks across a growing empire. In co-op, the game’s slower pacing feels more manageable, as players can specialize in production, logistics, or expansion planning. This mode highlights how dense the underlying systems are, transforming what can feel like grind in solo play into a more dynamic and collaborative experience. Visually, the game delivers atmosphere rather than technical brilliance. Environments are varied and often evocative, but character models, animations, and some environmental assets show clear limitations. Bugs and inconsistencies occasionally break immersion, reminding players that this is a systems-heavy simulation built on a modest budget. Sound design and ambient audio do a solid job of grounding the experience, supporting the sense of isolation, tension, and routine that defines life on Isla Sombra. Narratively, the game provides only a loose framework for your rise through the criminal underworld. Characters and story beats exist, but they function mainly as context rather than driving forces. This design choice reinforces the sandbox nature of the experience, allowing players to create their own stories through success, failure, and adaptation. While this may disappoint those looking for a tightly written narrative, it aligns well with the simulation-focused design philosophy. Ultimately, Drug Dealer Simulator 2 is a bold, uneven, but deeply engaging sequel that prioritizes complexity and player agency over polish and accessibility. Its strength lies in how interconnected its systems are, creating a slow-burning sense of progression that feels genuinely earned. The game demands patience, tolerance for rough edges, and an interest in management-heavy gameplay, but for players willing to meet it on its own terms, it offers a uniquely immersive and demanding simulation experience that few other titles attempt at this scale.
