Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 32.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Dragon's Dogma experience is like playing an old game of Dungeons & Dragons. The sense of adventure, explorations, discovery is something that is so well complemented by its dynamic encounters. While I don't have enough time with the game yet, in order to fully judge it narrative, I am content with the title merely for its gameplay loop. Also, to touch on the topic of performance, as it was a rather large issue on release, I do think they have ironed out many of the issues for the most part. My performance is pretty stable with a 3070 TI with 8GB VRAM and and 32GB of system ram, with the graphics setting set to High, no Raytracing, DLSS set to Quality Mode. I chose to wait for a while for the game to receive all its updates and to see whether a "Dark Arisen" version would be released, and I have not been disappointed at all thus far. Looking forward to see what the expansion holds.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

During my 2 hour’s gameplay I found this game to be nearly intolerable, let alone fun/enjoyable. This games only deserves 20USD price at best. • Combat tutorial is a huge mess. You’re stuffed with constant verbal instructions from NPC while focusing on the monster in front of you. I barely had time to try the first technique NPC taught me before them came up with the second technique. I even interrupted NPC’s combat instructions because I killed the monsters too quickly. As a sword&shield fighter playing normal difficulty, I just don’t have the that much energy to listen to what NPC was teaching me while defending myself from enemy blows. By the end of the combat I barely remember half of those combat tutorials. •The English dub was PAINFULLY plain and emotionless. I know people online praise this game of using medieval phrases but I feel like 2/3 of the NPCs were reading their script with no emotion at all. Even AI can do a better job than what’s in the game. There were no racism despises like Skyrim. There were no enthusiastic combat shouts like Helldiver. Everyone outside the cutscene sounds hollow. •The starting plot was horrible. I was very excited to gain freedom and starts to roam around the map but everything in my mouth turns bad the moment they introduced “pawns”. The player was brought up from the pitiful prisoner to a chosen champion where so many people would follow you blindly and for no reason all of a sudden. In any other games if you were to be given a companion, it would be a reason for either gold, friendship, life-saving but not in this game. It’s like using a cheat at the noob village but on the plot level which makes no sense and made me lost all the interest for the progression system. This is probably the worst thing in the game. “Pawns” are driving me nuts. I can’t imagine leading a group of mindless zombies with none of them being unique. I played Mass Effect and it was a shiny example of companionship. Each teammates have their own story and culture and personality. They interacts with each other and none of them is replaceable. I’d sacrifice millions of pawns in exchange for a one friendly NPC that isn’t a zombie manifested out of thin air. This is beyond stupid. I know I don’t have much time invested in this game. If it can’t hook me up in 2 hours, it’s not worth my time. I’d keep my game copy and support the dev if it’s cheap and has potential. But not in this case. This is an expensive slop made by a big company. So it’s not worth my money either.
An excellent game, but like its prequel it is a bit old school in some design choices which can be good or bad depending on your preference. The exploration is top notch and the environment is eerie and interesting. Gameplay is very responsive and the animation is well made. One thing I do want to highlight, RE Engine is still rough to optimize around specially for Ultrawide users since the game doesn't function properly on 3440x1440 or 2560×1080 resolution where the Audio is not synched properly with the Video. It might not be a universal issue but it is still something to highlight. Hopefully they will fix this when they release the upcoming DLC. Overall the game is worth and I strongly recommend it and I cannot wait for the DLC to drop.
One of the best RPG series ever made Capcom on the other hand can eat my entire ass if they ever use RE Engine on an open world game ever again
The exploration in this game, feels absolutely horrid, and the combat quickly felt stale due to the excessive encounters. My character is lethargic and can barely jump. I have to run around meandering roads just to reach a chest that's likely worthless. And when it turns night, you can barely see, so you have to pay a camping tax? WTF. Worst of all, are the swarms of goblins and random enemies. Every 10s on the main road, OOPS enemies. Every 3mins, OOPS a miniboss.
느긋한 모험 일줄 알았는데 한걸음 갈때마다 인카운트되는 적 용과같이보다 더 심할 줄 누가 알았냐?
20 hours in as of now and it's a solid 7/10* ( 2 years waiting for the fixes + removal of DRM [ main reason I waited 2 years to buy the game ] ). Combat is fun and changing vocations to experiment with different playstyles paired with exploring the map without any guides or external sources of information is an amazing experience, the community pawns helping point out POIs is really nice. Game runs reasonably well and mostly free of bugs ( small stutters while running in open areas and NPCs still load just a few feet away from the player inside cities - 2 Saurians spawned at the center of Vernworth but that only happened once and it was pretty funny so I guess I can let that one slide ). Will keep an eye out on the DRM situation since Capcom added Enigma to other games after removing Denuvo ( changing a product to a state in which a consumer would have avoided the purchase is a pretty important part of consumer right here in Brazil so I am making it as public as I can - I only purchased the game due to the removal of DRM ). Edit: * - 7/10 is good almost great - one more big patch to fix those minor stutter and increase NPC "draw distance" and it's a 8/10 ( that to me is 1 point short of games such as Witcher 3, HiFi Rush, Baldur's Gate 3). Good on you Capcom ( thou it would've been better to release the game as it is right now in the first place ).
playing with mystic spearhand, and wanna get medusa head for sculptor quest, hire someone else warrior pawn that fcking pawn just 1 shot medusa.. what a game, didnt get medusa head 10/10
They made the performance much better over the course of my playthrough with the new patch. So performance is not an issue for me anymore. Gameplay is awesome, it is a lot fun, although loot is meaningless everywhere except towns. They need to make that better in the DLC, because adventuring is fun, but pointless for equipment and treasure. Be careful that if you go too far into the main quest, it also locks you into the ugly red epilogue world, which was a sore to look at, despite the enemies being fun. So make sure you do all the side quests and explore everything you want to before progressing. The story is very bad, most of the quests are very boring and most of the characters have the most boring personality and dialogue I've ever seen. The middle English verbage is also annoying and repetitive. The ending tries to justify the poor quality of the story and characters that with some badly executed metanarrative ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which is even more badly written. Seems like the writer was whining about the state of fantasy stories, but they did not have the skill to come even close to executing it properly. If I wanted that, I'd play Undertale. I have seen countless mediocre triple A and indie games with mediocre or boring stories, but Dragon's Dogma 2 takes the cake for actually being able to piss me off by the end of it. Pathfinder is also the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen in any videogame. I won't say "play if you don't care about writing and story in videogames", because the story is very intrusive, and the pawn dialogue also gets very annoying throughout it. So in that sense it isn't something you can ignore. Buy the game only if this unique gameplay still makes you want to play despite all the rest of the game being completely bare bones. If you can wait for when the DLC itself gets a discount along with the main game, that'd be the best time to get it.
