Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 32.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is so fun full of things to be explored. You don't have to play the first to play this one imo.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

good
20 hours in as of now and it's a solid 7/10* ( 2 years waiting for the fixes + removal of DRM [ main reason I waited 2 years to buy the game ] ). Combat is fun and changing vocations to experiment with different playstyles paired with exploring the map without any guides or external sources of information is an amazing experience, the community pawns helping point out POIs is really nice. Game runs reasonably well and mostly free of bugs ( small stutters while running in open areas and NPCs still load just a few feet away from the player inside cities - 2 Saurians spawned at the center of Vernworth but that only happened once and it was pretty funny so I guess I can let that one slide ). Will keep an eye out on the DRM situation since Capcom added Enigma to other games after removing Denuvo ( changing a product to a state in which a consumer would have avoided the purchase is a pretty important part of consumer right here in Brazil so I am making it as public as I can - I only purchased the game due to the removal of DRM ). Edit: * - 7/10 is good almost great - one more big patch to fix those minor stutter and increase NPC "draw distance" and it's a 8/10 ( that to me is 1 point short of games such as Witcher 3, HiFi Rush, Baldur's Gate 3). Good on you Capcom ( thou it would've been better to release the game as it is right now in the first place ).
Dragon's Dogma II is unlike any other Action RPG out there and once you get a taste of its world and design and mechanics you will spend the rest of your life looking for a game like it. (thankfully there's always DDDA to follow it up!) The game is a bit of an acquired taste, however. DD2 is at its finest with how you and your Main Pawn (and your hired pawns too) adventure through the world, because what Dragon's Dogma does best is its emergent gameplay. You could be traveling to a major city back home from a quest or to a quest and a Griffon or Ogre can pop in just to make sure you knew the world hated your guts. Or your pawns could all die and you'll have to wander the world with them in forfeit before reclaiming them from a Riftstone. Best yet, is how attached you get to these strange creatures. You make your own Pawn - a goober that follows you around permanently and sometimes gives you a high five after a job well done. They'll quip about things you do, support you in combat, or run off to find things because they saw something shiny in the distance. Truly, they're pets in human form. And you'll adore them. The vocations in DD2 have a much greater sense of identity vs DDDA. Each plays a much more specific, tighter role. Some might find this restrictive, but it gives a chance for each vocation to shine in its own area of expertise. This accounts primarily for Strider, who was broken into Archer and Thief for DD2. Magick Archer was also stripped of using daggers and staffs. Warfarer, the newest Vocation, allows your Arisen to mix and match *any* vocations' skills/weapon types. Do with this what you will. I've given the game a lot of praise for what it does really well - much the same could be said for DDDA back in 2013 for consoles and 2016 when it came to PC. The negatives hit hard and they leave a lot to be desired. DD2's narrative suffers from being 40% completed. It starts off strong, and the beginning quests give off an air of usurping the false Sovran to take your rightful place on the throne. You go through a large part of the game with this plot thread in mind, until... it stops. The plot shifts from taking your place on the throne to the game practically ending with the end of the world. It goes from 0-100 where you least expect it and it's not even a good surprise. Quest design is also worse imho. In DDDA, quests were semi-clearly marked with Red or Green "?" marks above an NPC's head. This is not so in DD2. While it's more immersive, it's much more confusing and disorienting. Talk to *everyone*. Literally everyone. And sometimes the quests are so vague in description it's best to just pull up a guide, get your pawn the quest knowledge, and help others. (this could also be done vice versa, if your hired pawns have the knowledge) No matter the negatives, I'm glad we got a sequel to this hidden gem. Dragon's Dogma deserved better by Capcom and I'm proud of Itsuno for getting the chance to make this wonderful game. I'm looking forward to the Dark Arisen expansion and I'm glad I gave this game a proper chance.
