Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 26.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Yeah nah yeah
⭐⭐⭐⭐❌ "They are rage, brutal, without mercy... But you, you will be worse. Rip and tear, until it is done!" DOOM 2016 was the only one of the modern DOOM games I didn't play fully when I was initially exposed to the franchise in the quiet period between it and DOOM: Eternal. I was aware of the plot, the enemies and the bosses, but something about it never hooked me like Eternal and The Dark Ages did. However, after playing the full game now I wonder why I ever skipped out on it because it is a very strong game. Some quick praises I want to note firstly is the weapon roster, as each weapon is primarily stripped from the original games of old with the exception of the Gauss Cannon. All of these weapons are fun to quickly switch around, and you'll find yourself hooked onto their upgrades, especially in the later levels. Speaking of, I think the level design and the weapons work greatly with one another as I can weave around corners or leap up jump points with a lock on rocket barrage or missiles. These are refined later in Eternal and The Dark ages based on personal experience. I did want to critique that some levels around the middle of the game felt too cramped for the enemies that they were throwing my way, and I could have easily cleared the arenas in a single run if it weren't for corners that felt unnecessarily tight. There's also the demon roster, which was really fun, although I felt like they introduced all of the demons a bit too early, I found all of them to be used correctly in the arenas nonetheless. Their designs are brilliantly remade from the ground up, all looking familiar but hosting a beautiful variety of differing character silhouettes, and their unique attacks allow you to cheese them out for extra damage. Again, this is refined to be even better in Eternal and The Dark Ages. The weapons and the variety of demons are another thing that work really well together as once you find a rhythm of weapon swapping with each demon it really lives you hungering for more. Which, for a series not initially built off immersion, really makes you feel like DOOMGuy in his current state of mind. Not every demon is built for the same weapon either, which encourages you to remember what demon is weak to what and always have your finger on the keypad. Finally, the story is simple, having an in-universe way of writing a reboot to DOOM by having DOOMGuy be transported to another universe with a similar demonic problem always worked really well with me. As it allows us to feel familiarized with similar concepts and plot-points but still have stakes feel new as this isn't the same world anymore. Samuel Hayden and VEGA are nice additions, even if they're relegated to voices in DOOMGuy's visor 90% of the time, but I can clearly see they were building up the reveals of The Father and Samur, The Seraphim in DOOM: Eternal with a couple lines in 2016. I want to expand upon this by also greatly complimenting Hugo Martin's ability to have storytelling feel consistent and fresh while not impacting the gameplay, having environmental storytelling around in every level also adds a lot of visual wonder the the world of the modern DOOM games. I appreciate it even more now in Eternal and The Dark Ages. I'll be replaying DOOM: Eternal and it's Ancient Gods DLCs soon, hungry for more...
