Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game! But I have to say i would like more DW Universe original graphics(every planet, ship, mnstr was spacelike moving ...smooth ... on normal computers) ... with all the additional stuff the second part brought to us. Maybe in some parts a little bit tooo slow.
If I had to say something constructive about this game is the UI is a little bit unintuitive, no explanations of nothing and sticky. You click something, then it's there, then it's not. Also Colony Management screen could use some love. Little explanation of items selected and general lack of info makes the game harder to learn. But, the AI can play for you while you figure out the rest. What game does this seriously? The detail in every ship, (I saw an ambassador ship arrive at my homeworld and was like OMG!) very, very detailed in that aspect. Ships, civilian ships, etc, etc looks very cool.

Cool looking Stellaris alternative, I will update my review after some more hours of game-play but so far I like what I see!
You can automate the parts of the game you don't enjoy controlling and focus on playing the parts of the game you do enjoy. Which also allows for faster games than I'm used to experiencing in the 4x genre.
Fun and rewarding strategy on a grand scale.

Complete freedom to choose your level of micro-management. You decide what to automate and what to control directly.
Automation for macro tasks like defense fleets is mandatory. The game is far too complex to keep controlling everything yourself.
I've been playing a little while and I'm still feeling like I'm learning how everything works. But, its got space ships and empires and tells its own stories. Absolutely worth it.
Extreme detail that doesn't mean anything. Just not terribly interesting after a bit.
這破遊戲更新效率有多低呢?沒錯,他們在兩年後才修復了對中文化MOD的支持

I've been playing 4X games for a while now, starting with the original Master of Orion (which still rocks). Distant Worlds 2 is (of those I've played, and I haven't played ALL of them) the best I've seen. Their team is small, but they keep expanding what you can do in the world, and every time I play I discover something new. If you enjoy LONG FORM space empire building, DW2 is your kind of game. Heartily recommended by this (really) old-school gamer.
