Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 12.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Go woke, go broke--amirite fellow gamers? I have nothing but fond memories for Dishonored 1, so when I heard about the poor reception to the sequel I was pretty disappointed. Years later, I saw Dishonored 2 on sale on steam and I noticed that the user reviews were "very positive". Curious. I read a few and realized that I needed to try this game. I bought it and went in with measured expectations. Right away the developers let the player know: this one is for the ladies. Female overseers, female villian (I later learned that Delilah was introduced in the first game's DLCs), and a female protagonist, still with the option to play as Corvo. The great offence, however, was good ol' Samuel's replacement: a black, lesbian woman with disabilities. "Ah," I thought, "the poor reception makes sense." While stuff like this does detract a little from the world-building, it's ultimately not a real issue for me. And, once these "woke" introductions are over, the rest of the game is just a great sequel to the first Dishonored. Because there are several ways to play through this game, I must note that my playthrough was with Emily, low chaos, zero detections, zero kills. I also took the time to explore each level and (try to) find all the runes and bone charms. With all that said, I loved this game. There's always a back door and the player is always rewarded for exploring. Each level is thoughtfully designed and most have extremely memorable aesthetics or gimics. All the non-lethal routes and optional objectives were fun, but there are a couple of levels with some boring backtracking. All-in-all, it's exactly what a sequel should be: a perfect balance of novel and familiar. Like the first game, Dishonored 2 doesn't have much of a story. It's the lore and world-building that actually get the player engaged. However, I find Emily to be a much more interesting character than Corvo. In the first game, Corvo is silent, capable, determined, and cool. In other words, he's boring! As royal protector, Corvo's only defining traits are his abilities to help or harm others. Emily brings something new to the table: internal conflict. Unlike Dishonored 1, the sequel is almost a coming-of-age story. Emily not only goes on a journey of revenge like her father before, she goes on a journey of self discovery. Can she be the stealthy, deadly badass her father was? Can she earn the respect of her allies? Is she fit to be an empress? It's not much, but this added dimension of story-telling was a nice bonus to an otherwise faithful sequel. In sum, if you liked Dishonored 1, then you will like Dishonored 2. The "woke" stuff is only at the beginning, but if that sort of thing actually bothers you, then you should probably not play this game or really any game. I would recommend instead going outside and touching grass for once in your life. Otherwise, I do recommend Dishonored 2.
I doubt my review will be helpful because this game has problems that only seem to be a problem for me. I played it years back when it first came out and didn't like it, so I tried it again to see if I'd enjoy it more now that I'm older. Nope. To preface, I think the lethal/non lethal split is already flawed game design. Don't give me all these fun powers and weapons to use but tell me I'm bad for using them. So in my opinion, the original game is deeply flawed. So why do I like it more than the sequel? It's fun diet stealth. It's not a serious stealth game. It give you convenient enemy positions and intuitive alternate routes. Find a locked door? Get up high and find an open window, or go around the building to find a secondary entrance. Dishonored 2 constantly, and repeatedly obscures these routes behind just a little to much homework to be fun. Want to get through this building to get a rune? Sorry, on this side there is 1 door, and it's locked, and you have to backtrack 20 minutes to go through the ONE entrance we gave it in an absolutely not convenient or intuitive location. It's like if to unsmoothed all the edges from the original game, at least the edges that were smoothed. It's somehow clunkier than the original. I don't even know if I can recommend it for $6. Because it doesn't even have the simple fun of the original.
After multiple playthroughs, I still think Dishonored 2 is one of the best immersive sims ever made. It gives you an incredible amount of freedom without ever feeling overwhelming. Every level is designed like a giant puzzle box, with countless ways to reach your objective depending on how you want to play. You can ghost through without being seen, eliminate every guard in sight, or mix stealth, powers, and gadgets however you like. The level design deserves all the praise it gets. Missions like Clockwork Mansion and A Crack in the Slab are some of the smartest and most memorable levels I've played in any game, not just stealth games. Even after you know the layouts, they're fun to revisit because there's always another route or approach you didn't notice before. The PC launch deserved the criticism it got, but the game has been patched over the years and runs much better now. If you've been putting it off because of those early reviews, it's absolutely worth giving another look. A modern classic and, in my opinion, one of Arkane's best games. Easy recommendation.
Dishonored 2 was good But now it doesn’t even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch shouldn’t even be sold on the store do not buy this game
Dishonored 2 is easily one of the best stealth-assassin games ever made. Even years after its release, it never feels old. What amazes me most is the sheer amount of freedom the game gives you. Every mission feels like a giant sandbox where there are countless ways to achieve your objective. Whether you want to sneak through shadows without being seen, eliminate targets silently, or go on a full rampage, the choice is always yours. At first, my ADHD kicks in and I spend way too much time trying to do everything perfectly and silently. It can be slow, but that's part of the experience. Exploring every corner, finding hidden paths, discovering secrets, and planning the perfect approach is incredibly rewarding. The level design is absolutely brilliant. There are so many routes, tools, powers, and creative solutions that every playthrough feels different. Few games make experimentation this fun. One moment you're teleporting across rooftops, and the next you're finding an entirely new path you never noticed before. What makes Dishonored 2 special is that it never gets boring. There's simply too much to do and too many ways to do it. Every mission encourages creativity and rewards curiosity. If you love stealth games, immersive worlds, and player freedom, Dishonored 2 is a masterpiece and one of the greatest stealth games ever created.
Very good action/stealth game, maybe a bit too similar to the first game.
Man I can’t even describe how I love this game. My universal chill game on par with Cyberpunk 2077 and few other titles. Already finished it like 15 times on different platforms and still love it as fresh. Hope someday we’ll see third part, but no hope left this year with such news
