Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 6 → 40.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, the die-hards might be upset here... but it's just not my thing. I haven't done much with the point and click genre, but everyone and their dog swore this was THE SINGLE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME and that I couldn't not love it. Some compared it to BG3 or actual ttrpg's. Gave it a shot. It just didn't capture me in the way other deep-narrative games have done. Some seriously magnificent satire, and the narration inside the main character's head is beautifully written and extremely complex. But with the whole "time doesn't advance unless you're activating new dialogue" it soon became a drag, skipping through meaningless dialogue that lends nothing to the overall story, running around trying desperately to find some idiot you haven't talked to yet today to try to advance to the day of the in-game week where you can actually progress the storyline. I'll admit I didn't finish the story all the way. I just ended up losing interest, it was the kind of game I'd have to convince myself to boot up just to try to finish it. Perhaps I'm just not a patient enough individual, or maybe I just didn't catch the vision, but it just isn't my slice of cake. --- TL;DR This game, despite what some may say, is NOT for everyone. Parts of it are masterfully written, but it's slow, often tediously so, and if you go in expecting something else, you might be disappointed.

I wouldn't call Disco Elysium a game, since most of the gameplay you'll be interacting with is reading, not playing. A "visual novel" with some light point&click adventure elements or "choose your own adventure book" would describe this game more accurately. With that said, the gameplay of Disco Elysium is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fire. Devs definitely did their homework on everything they touched in their game, be it medical (both physical and psychological) conditions, political themes, or philosophical topics. This game also has a range - it can be both depressing and inspirational, funny and sad. all at the same time. It's a shame the original devs got scammed out of their own company by current leadership of ZA/UM, but hey, even if we won't ever get a proper sequel or DLC, I'm still happy this game was made.
Dedicated to the story of the greatest detective, Tequila Sunset. ... You’re standing on the waterfront. Late evening. The sun has almost dipped below the horizon, painting everything in shades of red and orange. There is slush underfoot, wet snow is falling; a cold wind blows in from the bay. Your colleague, Kim Kitsuragi, stands beside you, pushing up his glasses and silently tuning in to the whispers of the city drifting to sleep. In a moment he’ll light his cigarette, and your thoughts will spiral back. Back to the hanged man in the tree, the rundown courtyards, and the weary people dwelling in gray tenements. Back to the figure in the white dress, smelling of apricots, slipping away into the mist. You’re shivering, not sure whether it’s the cold or those thoughts. To escape it all, your Horrific Necktie will suggest a tried-and-true method: lose yourself in the haze of tobacco smoke, drugs and booze. After all, could anyone in the bar sing the saddest song better than you? Could anyone else pry open shuttered souls quite like you do? You have an absolute talent for causing chaos and performing strokes of genius. You’ll tear your room to shreds, philosophize about politics and women, sink your police motor-carriage, smash a street payphone to pieces, and help the ravers throw a party in the abandoned church. But you’ll also reach out and help strangers, simply because you can’t do otherwise. In the end, you will unravel this crime and catch the killer. You zip up your black leather jacket with “F**k the world” on the back. You’re ready. There is still so much to be done.
please do not buy this on steam. this game was stolen and the original creators will not recieve anything.
incredibly boring gameplay, or maybe the better choice of words are that there is no gameplay in the first place
Masterpiece. Don't buy it.
probably goes hard if you either play hearts of iron 4 or love communism
