Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG that challenges the players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more - in a truly immersive fantasy world.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 32.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game after initial rough launch is about to get its redemption arc. If you are debating to start the playthrough, personally i'd recommend to wait untill august patch. It's the day the performance patch will hit along with improvements to skills ( maximum of skills will be increased from 4 to 6 ). Currently you need nasa pc to play this game relatively on high graphics, high resolution in smooth framerates. Performance is similar to launch state of Monster Hunter Wilds - so be ware of that, although I feel like august patch will flip it upside down, I expect huge improvement since Capcom got familiar with their engine with how they polished performance of MH:Wilds. I had huge fun during my first playthrough despite performance issues, issues with story itself ( some parts are undercooked ) and I can't wait to replay it again after August patch.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A very good game now that the frankly disastrous original PC specs have been improved. The plot is as wonky as the original game, the Pawn system is as entertaining as the original game, and the combat remains fantastic. I don't think I'll ever get tired of climbing up a cyclops to stab its eyes out.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is one of the best games I've played in years. I regret listening to all the negative reviews and comments that convinced me this game was mediocre. Lesson learned: don't blindly trust modern audiences if you're a REAL GAMER. I started playing DD2 because I was bored and looking for a fantasy RPG in the same vein as The Witcher 3—magic, monsters, exploration, and meaningful adventures. I expected an average game, but I decided to give it a chance. Was it The Witcher 3 2.0? No. Was it worse? Hell no. The game immediately impressed me with its incredible character creator. It's so detailed that you can practically recreate yourself. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a deeper character creator in any game. From the very beginning, I loved the way the character moved. In many modern games, characters either run at unrealistic speeds or feel like they're floating across the ground. In Dragon's Dogma 2, every movement has weight. My character actually felt like a real person existing in the world. The story starts slowly and can feel a bit random, but it serves as the backdrop for your own adventures. After an hour or two, I realized this game has more in common with GTA Online than The Witcher 3 when it comes to storytelling. And that's not a bad thing. The main story and side quests exist mainly to support something much greater. That "something" is freedom. The best moments in this game aren't scripted—they happen naturally because of how you play, where you decide to travel, and what you choose to explore. Playing Dragon's Dogma 2 felt like being dropped into a living fantasy world inspired by Dungeons & Dragons or the classic Might & Magic games. The game never holds your hand. You actually have to learn its mechanics through experience. There are tutorials, but most of the systems reveal themselves naturally as you play. That sense of discovery is something I rarely experience anymore. The feeling of adventure is unlike almost anything I've played. If I had to compare it, I'd say it's like combining the party exploration of Dungeon Siege, the sense of discovery from classic Tomb Raider, and the freedom of GTA's open world. It sounds like a crazy combination, but somehow it works. The game can be brutally difficult because many mechanics and quests are intentionally obscure. But instead of frustrating me, that made the experience even more rewarding. We live in the internet age—a little research never hurt anyone. This is what I call a real video game. It's made for people who want to play games, not just watch interactive movies. Dragon's Dogma 2 expects you to think, experiment, explore, and sometimes fail. It doesn't play itself for you. I've already spent over 180 hours in the game, I'm still collecting achievements, and I've already decided to start another playthrough. Dragon's Dogma 2 is an amazing, deeply underrated masterpiece. If you're a gamer who values freedom, exploration, and creating your own adventure instead of simply following quest markers, I can't recommend it enough. This game is for REAL PLAYERS who play video games not watching INTERACTIVE movies.

This game goes through maddening cycles of review bombing before each release, this time by petulant people who have evidently never bought a game before. I'll see if I can't even the scales. Dragon's Dogma is really a one of a king RPG experience. It delivers on classical fantasy better than any other game I am aware of. Magic is slow, big, and frightening. Caves and dungeons await practically anywhere you would want to look with frightening monster i habiting them. The thing that keeps bringing players back is all the crazy emergent gameplay that occurs from the numerous quirky systems included in the game. The combat also feels really tactile. It's a unique experience and I am eagerly waiting for the upcoming expansion.
OK so I really have a love/hate relationship with this game. On one hand I love it for its atmosphere and combat, on the other its a tedious grindfest that I have bounced off of like 3 times. Mods make it more bearable, but the one thing that really kills this game for me is the save system. Resting at inns the the only way to hard save- and that would be fine if this wasn't a winding road "open world" that takes in some cases an hour or more to get to the town you are trying to get to. And fast travel is a pain as well so you could be stuck out in the wilderness for upwards of five hours or more and you don't even realize that you are playing with a fragile save file. I say "fragile" bc there is a game breaking bug that locks you into an endless fall thru the map and it auto soft saves you there. So if you try to reload the game you are still falling, ok so you reload to last time you rested at an inn. Oh wait that was five hours or more ago bc you've been in the wilds being a GD hero. HOURS of Progress lost. I really don't gaf about the shared pawn system so they could just give me a completely offline option with a better save system and that would just GD peachy. Yeah don't buy this, its crazy that this game is a few years old at this point several updates in and the fall bug hasn't been addressed. I'll probably never beat this game, and quit on it yet again.
From This Moment Forth, You Are Arisen, Charge And All.
Ridiculo, pra dizer o minimo.
2026 and it's still terribly optimized. game crashed 8 times while i was creating my pawn, only for me to have to download the character creation specific version of the game(Because thats healthy) in order to play past pawn creation. Great. Fine. Right? Game crashed 30 minutes later. Sick.
Incredible combat experience, weirdly flat story, appealing visuals and pleasant game loop. Great game overall.
