Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.29/day in the week to Aug 6 → 40.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I gave this game 3 tries on separate occasions. As I grew older and played more sophisticated but similar games, this just became a boring blob of glorified book with horrible UX and pacing.
Do not let the pretty art style and clever prose fool you. Disco Elysium is not a deep game about human nature. It is a political lecture disguised as an RPG. Fake Options and Political Caricatures The game attacks every idea outside left-wing ideology. It turns tradition and conservatism into cartoonish fascists. It turns order and governance into cold, evil bureaucracy. The game never engages with traditional virtues or objective moral truth. It creates silly strawmen so radical leftism looks like the only valid option left. Romanticizing Communist Violence The developers thanked Karl Marx in their award speech, and this bias fills the dialogue. The game treats communism as a sad, tragic dream that simply failed. It ignores the real history, the mass deaths, and the destruction caused by communist regimes. The story asks you to feel sorry for the red revolution instead of condemning its harm. Nihilism Without Any virtues The main character represents total moral decay. He is an addict who wallows in self-pity and substance abuse. The game offers no path to duty, accountability, or traditional virtues but instead offer you complete Nihilism. It forces you into a hopeless world where human action means nothing and wallowing in trauma passes for depth. The art and writing show technical skill, but the underlying message is ideologically rotten. If you value common sense, traditional morality, and objective truth, do not buy this game.

DON'T ENDORSE CORPORATE GREED Great game. S#!tty people destroying gaming.
The furies are at home in the mirror; it is their address… Even the clearest water, if deep enough can drown.
- "Reflections" by R. S. Thomas Easily the best written videogame to date - it'll make you sad, it'll make you glad, it will make you feel all right. The non-linearity and reactivity are also hardly matched, and will keep you entertained for at very least for 3 full playthroughs. The gameplay is innovative enough to not feel like you've played a similar game before, building upon tabletop game tropes but putting its own spin on it with the thought cabinet and skills talking all the time in your head, guiding you in the right direction, giving you more information, or leading you astray. The music is great, the voice acting is highly skilled and sounds natural - every voice actor was hand picked and they recorded at the devs' studio under their guidance to make sure voice actors fit the characters, the artstyle is unique - especially skills' and characters' portraits The worldbuilding, oh man, THE WORLDBUILDING, it's quite something. The atmosphere is a bleak ruin, that of a dying world on the brink of existential calamity, all of that as a backdrop for a detective murder mystery, with you inhabiting the most unorthodox sorry excuse of a cop suffering from amnesia and harboring a past trauma he has to get over or succumb to. And somehow the writers manage to weave this mish-mash salad of ideas into a coherent, thematically interconnected story. Oh, and it will challenge you on politics and make you ask yourself questions you haven't really bothered to before about where your values stand, but it will also won't stop you ignoring it and going full apolitical and just doing your job. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea - wallowing in sorrow and depression and coping via weird sense of humour - but it was right up my alley. Sadly it will remain a one-of-a-kind work due to the founding developers losing their own company to shareholders. I'll close this review with a link to the opening dialogue - if you're still on the fence, please look at this masterpiece: Dico Elysium: The Final Cut - Intro - "I like pain and burning light" ver.
I wouldn't call Disco Elysium a game, since most of the gameplay you'll be interacting with is reading, not playing. A "visual novel" with some light point&click adventure elements or "choose your own adventure book" would describe this game more accurately. With that said, the gameplay of Disco Elysium is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fire. Devs definitely did their homework on everything they touched in their game, be it medical (both physical and psychological) conditions, political themes, or philosophical topics. This game also has a range - it can be both depressing and inspirational, funny and sad. all at the same time. It's a shame the original devs got scammed out of their own company by current leadership of ZA/UM, but hey, even if we won't ever get a proper sequel or DLC, I'm still happy this game was made.
A detective who couldn't remember his own name, his childhood, or who he used to be. Chasing clues across the city, trying to solve the mystery of a murder and the stranger staring back from the mirror
Хорошая игра. Ненавижу её.
please do not buy this on steam. this game was stolen and the original creators will not recieve anything.
keşke bi şekilde hafızamı kaybetsem ve bu güzel oyunu tekrar deneyimleyebilsem.
