Great game!
My favorite RPG of 2025. This is the best Digimon RPG yet! If you like monster collectors or Digimon, play this!! Skip the dlc unless you want specific evolutions though. None of the dlc was worth it. The story from all the dlc fell so flat and felt like a waste of time.
Best digimon game I've played since world 3 on ps1. I hope to see more like this. Maybe bring the wait mode turn base back to the world games atleast as an option so players like me can enjoy them better.

Tl;DR : Please buy this game on sale only if you're willing to give it a shot. Personally speaking, I liked the presentation on this game compared to Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's Memory; it's a MASSIVE UPGRADE. In terms of story though, I felt like I stop caring halfway through since it ended up getting too convoluted with characters I felt were too shallow at that point in the game (including side quests). The combat hasn't been changed much besides maybe(?) a minor change in buffing/debuffing but otherwise feels basic like in CS/HM. There's probably more to say on it, but like the aformentioned story, I stopped caring about it at a certain point too, even on Hard Mode. I'd have more to say but that's really the gist on my opinions on this game. As a whole, I feel this game is worth at MOST $50 and not a dollar more. Please buy it on sale if you really want to give this a shot.
Reliving my Saturday morning cartoon glory days, but now I’m an adult stressing over digital evolution trees xD Been a die-hard Digimon fan ever since the good old days of rushing to the TV, flicking it on, and watching a brand new episode drop. Sure, the franchise dropped some genuinely questionable seasons over the years, but my loyalty never wavered. Playing this game is pure nostalgia fuel mixed with modern fun. The gameplay hits all the right spots, and I am right back to obsessively grinding, evolving my mons, and pretending I'm a chosen child. 10/10 would neglect my real-life responsibilities to evolve my Agumon again.
I'm a huge fan of Digimon and everything about this game was perfect. From the over-all lore, to the small pixel-art. Every detail was accounted for, I strongly recommend with game!
I came in with expectations of the game to be at least decent HOWEVER... IT BLEW THEM OUT OF THE WATER!!! This game really tickles my tism by giving me a lovely creature collector a lifelong Pokemon fan loves but with JRPG style play and an incredible story. The characters are so good you feel apart of the team. I can say with confidence that out of the last 6 years it is in my top 3 games maybe of all time.
O jogo é extremamente viciante, tanto pela mecanica quanto pela historia(por mais que dava para melhorar alguns pontos), recomendo para ter a sensação de está assistindo o anime ou pelo primeiro contado com digimon
