Deponia is a click and point adventure game with an overwhelming amount of charm, the game is set in a wasteland world filled with junk, and having a well for clean water makes you as rich as having a well of oil. [hr]The Music[/hr] The music is a great addition to your immersion while playing the game, the music of the starting area in the game uses sounds and audio that wonderfully mesh together, the music to some not be very memorable, but it is definetely a great soundtrack [hr]Story[/hr] The plot of Deponia is relatively simple, Rufus, the main character is an inventor, and wishes to create an invention to get off his junk ridden planet to the upper class city in the sky Elyisum, His inventions fail time and time again when a girl from elysium falls from the sky and into Kuvaq, rufus' home town, Rufus seeing this as an opportunity to go to elysium attempts to help the girl get back. [hr]Characters[/hr] The main protagonist Rufus is the primary source for the games charm, he is stubborn and brash, but he eventually becomes my favorite character in the whole game, his dark humor and rude personality helps make the character stand out and makes him different from most other game protagonist, Unfortunately, the first Deponia game features only a single character, with everyone else not feeling as special, this is fortunately fixed in later games. [hr]Puzzles[/hr] unfortunately the click and point section fo the puzzles can be confusing and convuluted like many other click and point games, but the actual puzzle minigames can definetely be a challenge, often there is a lack of direction in the game, but I have of course completed the game with no walkthroughs, the game definitely tries to make you think outside the box and encourages you to try things you wouldnt think practical, but for Rufus regardless of how dangerous it is works completely! [hr]TL;DR[/hr] Deponia is a great game with amazing Music, Art and humor, the puzzles can sometimes feel impractical but are entirely possible, I Highly recommend this game and its sequels especially if you like click and point games https://store.steampowered.com/curator/46279352/

Watching the male characters' attitude toward the central female character is terrifying and disgusting. Fetishization, misogynistic slurs. They treat her like an object, and the game makes a joke out of it. Наблюдать за отношением персонажей к центральной персонажке просто жутко и отвратительно. Фетишизация, мизогинный слюр. К ней относятся как к вещи, а игра делает из этого хи-хи ха-ха
