Snow boarding 1080' Tony Hawk Pro Skate Japan Jet Set Radio Train Dual-Track Drift Simulator is good game.
hell yeah
Loved every second of it. 65 stages with all unique music tracks and great bosses, the only - is sometimes bugging out tracks and falling though the lvl but its barely a problem.
A Buggy Rollercoaster that Overstays its Welcome.
I would recommend watching this over playing it, or just buying the soundtrack. The music is top notch but everything else is either ok, middling or outright bad. I'm getting real sick and tired of so many anime-esque or jet set inspired indie games with dogawful character designs having stories about fighting the establishment or being set in a post capitalistic society it's really egregious here and you're better off just skipping every cutscene. Gameplay is simple and expands later down the line but I find its foundation to be very flawed. There's only so much you can do with the concept of a game where you play as a mostly on rails train. It feels like a sonic game in the worst ways where it's trying to be more of a spectacle than to be cohesive or fun. There is a lot of things going on at once and I found a good portion of my deaths to be BS due to the fact that my manual riding train riding on a rainbow track was visually blocking an incoming obstacle. Speaking of deaths I found most of them to be due to eaten up inputs, phasing through the track, being unable to attach to a wall, or just getting stuck halting progress entirely. A lot of the really cool moments are immediately undermined by a glitch. This game needed more time in the oven. Despite these complaints, the difficulty is nonexistent here. I don't mind games being easy or having a lack of lives but the only worthwhile thing about getting better in this game is for cosmetics, or buying trains that are double edged swords. The lack of consequence would be fine if the gameplay was satisfying enough to engage with more, encouraging you to delve deeper with its mechanics but that is not the case here, which leads to a game that is both easy and boring. The game has a feeling of "nothing really matters" due to lack of punishment, and the lack of polish and simple foundation does not incentivize you to play better. The levels are either get to the goal, racing, completing missions, or score attack. Everything barring the first one, and the second somewhat, are incredibly boring and I dread whenever I have to do those levels, because they're just constantly looping until you get everything done, and really showcase the limits of its concept and how repetitive it is. I could overlook all of that if everything else wasn't absolutely trite. It's a game that shines in it's spectacle but gets old quick. The best thing about this game is the soundtrack, and even then it doesn't save it.
