About

Democracy 3 is the work of a single developer, Cliff Harris from the UK, an indie games veteran who has been making games since 1997 and programming since he was 11 years old. Cliff gets some 'help' from his cats, but frankly not much...Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Evet
Noice
The game is buggy and badly leveled. Started to play with low difficulty, Germany. Germany doesn't have a 2-party system and it's a bit absurd to apply American logic to other countries. The whole game is centered around electoral decisions simulating the US system. Never managed to be re-elected despite solving sooo many problems. Crime rates down to a min, very high education (a series of Nobel price winners...) , health of citizens and environment much better, public income great, almost everybody except the capitalists happy... but 100% non-electors - literally every single group of electors chose to not vote, despite being all in the green "happy" area. When preparing elections and holding speeches, the indicator line goes up and down a lot, but in the final result, all effects remain zero through all repetitions. Doesn't look right to me. Also, in some screens, there are defetive displays where a number should be. My impression is that sth about the calculation system behind is corrupted. Since I did not manage to play a single game so I could be re-elected, despite all positive developments, I can't recommend it. Wondering how others seem to achieve that so easily. Seemed impossible against all positive achievements.

Kept getting assassinated by my own people.
成功通過兩場選舉後基本無敵,想怎麼幹就怎麼幹,樂趣沒了,也不真實
It's alright. As far as what it sets out to do, give you a basic government simulator where you can set policies and see how they affect a country, it's pretty solid. The game is not as deep as some (myself included) would probably like, and the mechanics can be very odd and easily manipulated, but it's fine. I would say wait for a sale if you can, don't think I'd recommend at full price, but if you can get it cheap it's worth a few hours of enjoyment.
Muy entretenido
At first, you might be turned off by the layout or simply fearful of figuring out how to solve certain problems. However, after playing a few rounds, you'll not only understand more but will probably begin to love it. Theres more going on that the screenshots show and its a great political sim. Eventually, turning into a sandbox of how you want to run a country.
Pretty fun
I cannot commit genocide, this is an outrage... But for the more peace loving population, not bad
