Death Road to Canada is a rare gem that is both relaxing to play casually and rewarding to white knuckle. It has some hilarious writing that made me laugh out loud, something that speaks for itself considering the dead-eyed stare I give most comedy media. Some of the lolrandom humor from the 2016 launch will likely get a few groans but overall it's a huge positive. This game has a [b]phenomenal selection of unique chiptune/rock fusion music[/b]. I've never heard anything like it, and though I don't usually enjoy either of those genres I adore the atmosphere. The game is worth the price tag on vibe alone. It's an easy game to recommend especially if you have a couch co-op homie. Win or lose, each run will entertain.

It's OK. The humor is meh and the upbeat music becomes annoying and repetitive after a while. The basic gameplay is way too simplistic (go to place, loot, get back to car) but the procedurally generated characters and situations carry the game and give it enough replayability (the multiple game modes also help) . Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Worth to pick up when on discount.
