Deadly Premonition is the hottest mess ever and yet it's delivered with such fervor that you can't help but enjoy the story and look back on it fondly. -Right zach?!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A terrible, borderline unplayable, port of a great game. Unless you're a big Twin Peaks fan and do not mind having to browse the guides to get over hundreds of game breaking bugs, skip it, watch a playthrough on YouTube or get a Switch version.
Full review on Backloggd. For short, don't buy this one on PC. Either get the Switch port, or emulate the 360/PS3 versions. The PC port is actually unacceptable. You will need to apply a bunch of fixes, which is more or less normal for a lot of older PC games and doesn't take much effort. The problem is that you will still face issues with potential crashes, softlocks, and even save file corruption after applying those fixes. I emulated the PS3 version instead, and it somehow ran just fine at 60fps (instead of the intended 30) without anything breaking. The most "severe" bug I've gotten was Quint driving his car while floating outside of his car. As for the game, it's not "so bad it's good." It's just a good ass paranormal mystery game that is inspired by Twin Peaks, but uses those influences to tell its own story. The combat sections are total garbage, but the real appeal of the game is the way it attempts to simulate the life in a little North-West US town. There are characters going about their daily schedule, they all have lots of unique moments that you'll only find if you actually stalk them and peek through their windows, and you play as one of the most lovable weirdos in video games. Well worth playing, but not on PC!
Strangely intriguing but frustratingly hard to control. The game is indie but ambitious, so certain (unpolished) parts are kinda glaring but not distracting from the immersive experience. But controls are.... that probably will kill your immersion.
FK in my coffee! One of my favorite games. Basically Twin Peaks as a game.
Don't work
An amazing game, just the right amount of quirky horror, especially starting out. My playtime doesn't reflect actual playtime, I played this three times over outside of Steam.
