About
Dead Stop is an anthology of short horror games - an episodic experience inspired by classic horror stories.
No Vacancy is the first episode.
Nancy, a hard-edged investigative reporter with nicotine stains on her fingers and a nose for lies, was burning rubber toward the nowhere town of Crestfall to dig into an arson that smelled like insurance money and revenge.
But she took a wrong turn and ended up on a long road with no road signs and no GPS signal.
That's how she rolled up on the Paradise Motel just as the last smear of daylight bled out.
Nancy’s big break might be waiting behind one of those doors.
Or maybe it's something more insidious...
Environmental puzzles built around the motel's dark history
A story told through objects, not cutscenes
Retro aesthetic inspired by 80s slasher films
Short and complete. No filler, no padding
ARACHNOPHOBIA WARNING:
This game features large spiders prominently in certain sections. These sequences may be distressing for players with arachnophobia.

I love games like this. Perfect kind of old school game with a nice balance of puzzles and spooky story. Very nice! Worked great with my PS5 controller.
Very interesting game. The story is interesting because seeing how it starts and how it ends and the gameplay mechanics are easy to understand and i like they make the itens to pick up to shine. Its a good short horror story that will give the creeps and scary with every step you do. Playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W26-_AsWd0g

The game started off good but kinda got a little weird later on. That puzzle with the symbols and the falling tiles was the death of me lol . Kinda wish the game stood in the direction of the actual motel and not went off to other territories . It could’ve been better
Short but packed with atmosphere Dead Stop: No Vacancy may be a short game, but it’s packed full of intrigue and a great mysterious, creepy story that I absolutely loved. The whole experience felt fun and amazing. The atmosphere, the storytelling, and the sense of unease kept me hooked the entire time. Even though it doesn’t overstay its welcome, it still left a strong impression. If you’re looking for a solid, atmospheric short horror experience, this one is definitely worth checking out.
A short horror game with a really well done 80s slasher aesthetic. The retro visuals, lighting and rundown motel vibe pull you right into that VHS nostalgia. It doesn't try to be more than it is, a tight, to the point experience without dragging things out. The gameplay is simple but effective, and that works in its favor. No overcomplicated puzzles or endless backtracking, which is a relief compared to other games in the genre. The tension is well paced, without going crazy on constant jumpscares, which makes the ones that do happen actually land.
starts off interesting and then turns into some weird stealth game with annoying ♥♥♥♥ spider AI that constantly camps the area you need to go to. not very fun.
Streaming this one was fun!!! I really liked the atmosphere, and the graphics were really nice. Overall this was a surprisingly positive experience and I cannot wait for the second one! ps big plus for hot monster lady
El juego empieza bien pero en mi opinión se tuerce de una forma muy extraña y bastante incomprensible. Además, el rendimiento aún teniendo gráficos pixelados es malísimo. La verdad que me ha decepcionado bastante.
wow a really nice game so far, i'm really enjoying it. the only thing is that the pixels are a bit high i wish we could lower them
