Dead Cells is a roguelite, metroidvania inspired, action-platformer. You'll explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle... assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers in 2D souls-lite combat. No checkpoints. Kill, die, learn, repeat.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.86/day in the week to Sep 8 → 36.86/day in the week after.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great Game

I love this game mostly because it has given me something no other game ever has or can - it gave me the ability to move on instinct and trust my gut before I can even consider my actions. It's a game where you don't have time to spare for a thought, except during breaks and maybe in the shopping areas. While you are crawling the dungeons its mostly "brain off, reaction on", where you dodge and hit quicker then your mind realises there was something moving. It's truthfully an exhilarating feeling, to dart and weave between enemies, half the time suspended mid-air, clawing your way out to the very last room. Then to dance between dishing out damage and trying to survive the biggest challenge you should be facing, just to find out that the hellish crawl before that might have actually been worse... ...so you change your entire route... ...and regret life decisions the second you set foot into new terrain. The weapons and tools provide versatility, making each run unique and engaging, while also giving just enough room to gravitate to the style you prefer. To hopefully make your chances of slaying that one boss just a bit higher then the chances of your failure. But then you hesitate, or get distracted by your own thoughts, for just a fracture of a second. And you loose all your cells to a stupid attack, and you are at the beginning again. You take a deep breath of slight disappointment and you start the next run. Because you are curious which items you will build this time. And because your demise was fair - you definitely could have dodged that. P.S.: It runs smoothly on a technically office-grade potato laptop, needs no internet whatsoever (hence the low amount of hours, pretty sure it's over 40 h at this point) and feels absolutely divine with a controller. And that's coming from a person who takes literal ages to master game controls.
