Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Aug 19 → 13.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Progress in each game mode is tracked separately, and you can freely switch back and forth between active sessions of either.
Kingdoms is being released in thematic modules, each focusing on a different enemy threat. All three adventure modules - “Hunger of the Beast Clan”, “Secrets of the Coven”, and “Curse of the Court”- are available now!

I have played more than 1,220+ hours on Darkest Dungeons and now have ventured to playing Darkest Dungeons 2. The UI and clicks are way too fancy. You have to hold and wait for it to be click. That is so bad in a game. Why can't it be a simple click? Making it too complicated guys. Just keep it simple. Damn annoying learning or should i say guessing the clicks and require to hold.

Is it Darkest Dungeons 1? Sort of, yes! True, gameplay has focused on a more per-run linead roguelike where you have a set of heroes who must go through a series of eldritch areas before facing their folly at a final boss (where DD1 had shorter runs at single areas and the maps are open rather than purely linear). I find many of the changes to gameplay rewarding including the token system, 5 skill loadouts instead of 4, backround stories of each character woven into gameplay and goal alike. True, there are many aspects which I think I would prefer to DD1, but if I wanted to play DD1, I would just do that. DD2 tries to do new things and imrpove on the old. For a game whose premise is overcoming ones past, it is important that DD2 also does not rehash the same old.
我都不想说你什么更新了那么多 连一代的英雄都没出完 就开始想把二代的英雄 转到一代,然后卖钱的吃相难看我跟你说你没救了 烂泥扶不上墙
es mejor el primero
I want to love this game so badly, I really do... I love Darkest Dungeon and this game is so beautiful, the art and animations are completely stellar and every-time a weapon scrapes across the ground shooting sparks across the screen it tickles a part of my brain. But... this game is frustrating in a way that isn't fun. It's not like Darkest Dungeon which is a punishing and difficult game that the player has tools to maneuver through, its a punishing and difficult game where the player is gambling with item drops and relationship ticks and path rng to hopefully eek out a win this time. One of my main complaints is that the confession bosses are bafflingly specific. It's a trial and error system where once you reach the boss you realize how your specific team comp, no matter how solid otherwise, is simply not designed to win against these bosses. You mine as well look up a guide on what team comps you're supposed to use because it's so strict that it mine as well be law. I don't enjoy playing through a rogue-like with my specific playstyle and team comp idea I came up with just to be met with the ♥♥♥♥ you boss at the end that punishes me for building the wrong kind of team. And if its your first time playing that specific confession you won't even know how the boss is going to ♥♥♥♥ you over, but it will. And not to mention how grindy this game is. DD1 was grindy in a satisfying way of slowly working your roster towards greatness, finding perfect trinkets and getting gold and relics to upgrade your town and max out your skills. It felt like a journey and you had a deep attachment with each of your high level heroes and it was gut wrenching to lose them. It's the same reason people love Nuzlockes in pokemon. But DD2 doesn't care about your party. It's a run-based rogue and your characters don't really carry over (there is a mechanic that saves their quirks and gives them slight buffs but its so inconsistent and annoying that it mine as well be there to force you to grind out the lower level confessions more than actually be a progression system). And all of the macro progression is in this big ole town that doesn't actually... help you. It just adds new trinkets and consumables, loadouts and comsmetics to the base game. It isn't forward progression it's lateral progression. And at some point you're just adding bad relics into the pool of relics to find making it even harder to get the relics you need to create stellar team comps. The path system is interesting for bringing new playstyles out of the current characters and they really made the most of their small roster but... the grind it takes to get each character to have that full loadout? Ludicrous! Have fun grinding run after run just to finally luck out on getting enough shrines of remembrance on your route to fully upgrade one hero and then do it again and again until all your heroes are playable to the fullest. There must have been a better way, right? Anyways, save your time and go play DD1 again with more mods installed. That game is timeless and the modding community will keep that game alive longer than Redhook can keep this game alive by trying to reinvent their game with Kingdoms and adding overpriced dlc for characters that were base game in DD1.
loved the first one, not interested in this game at all. strongly dislike the carrige mechanic.
