Crysis 3 In my opinion at this point the story is at an absolute loss, having now played all 3 games back to back not one of them makes sense and I never understand who I am or where I am. The story is Irrelevant the gameplay is surprisingly where this game shines. Story - As I said above the story is doggo, starting on a ship? in a container? None of this makes sense being saved by Psycho who hasn't been since the first game for some reason you get rescued (You being Prophet, The guy who capped ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off at the end of C1 and capped himself in C2 opening titles, yeah that guy). Somehow this guy never died and it was all a dream or something or other (Making C2 filler asf). Anyway we get awoken and are on our way to stop an all new mighty Seph - the ALPHA Seph...Oooo real original. *YAWN* Gameplay - Taking tons of elements from all the C1,2 games up to this point you have the biggest arsenal, the biggest amount of attachments, the best damn stealth weapon in the game and overall just a bloody good time. I really enjoyed the combat in C3 every aspect felt balanced and fair and all guns had their uses, some being better in certain situations. Stealth actually felt like stealth now we have a predator bow, and let me tell you it's useful, with 3 different modes of fire you can use the bow in many different ways along with 4 types of ammo. Boom, Shock, Slow boom and Arrows. All useful in certain scenarions. There's alot of guns so I won't mention all just that there is a lot and they're all good. The attachments for each gun are a pain in the ass to find and had I known how the game worked I would have picked up most weapon after killing the enemies to try and collect the attachments had I known... Instead I beat the game on Super Human or whatever the last diffs called and had to go back and replay missions for certain attachments which kind of sucks cos even though there is only 7 Missions, some can take well upto 1 hour if not longer. The maps are huge. Following on from earliers mention of Stealth, Armor mode also felt alot better and could absorb a ton of damage before needing to recoup. Not to mention the Nano perks or whatever they are called that could be upgraded depening on your playstyle, placing 2 of the extra armor points at the same time armor mode turned me into Rambo I literally took no damage and when needed I took a 5s breather. Enemy variety is almost none existent, it felt like there were humans, Seph with 5 guns and that's about it GG. Overall C3 was the best of the bunch for me however I feel as though I am Crysis'ed out, I can't be bothered anymore and I just want this game done with so I can move onto something else, they feel like slogs, and nothing makes sense. To play these games on repeat I feel you have to have a mental illness or something. There's so many better games within this genre and this one really feels like a duck and cover game without the cover but with armor and stealth. I dunno it's a weird concept that I think just barely works. Anyway C3 can have a 7 it was good but like I say i'm over it at this point and I won't be coming back to it.
