About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

I haven't really played much horror games, so this one scared the hell out of me during the first half. But even after getting past that, the game was super engaging and interesting. Absolutely would recommend. The world building, atmosphere and story are some of the best from this decade in my opinion. The combat was also very satisfying and progression felt good.
I really like this game. The atmosphere, aesthetic and setting is amazing. The game doesn’t have side quests, but optional paths are extremely worth exploring. Unskippable cutscenes ruining replay value. Certainly on par with any horror game on the market in terms of quality.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recomendo
Awful. Boring, no map, terrible combat
резидент івіл зі складним сюжетом про переміщення в часі, дуже раджу
A fun survival horror mixing elements of Dead Space, Resident Evil, and Singularity. While the game doesn't necessarily do anything revolutionary for the genre since there are only so many ways people can ♥♥♥♥ their pants (unless the technology just isn't there yet), it was enjoyable from start to end. I know some people will complain about backtracking, but honestly that has been an elemental in the survival horror genre for so long that it's almost to be expected, and is honestly a welcome respite to collect your thoughts on what you've done and what you're doing. To me the story was great. It has it's tropes, sure, but what game in the genre doesn't? There was a lot more dialog than I expected when I went in, and that combined with the environmental storytelling paints a bleak picture of past events leading up to bigger plot points. There was a decent amount of enemy variety, and the boss fights were fun without feeling unnecessarily frustrating. The real treat, however, were the environments themselves and the accompanying ambient noise and enemy sounds. The squishing noises in the background and the screams of enemies lurking around corners never got old no matter how much sense of dread there was. Good story, good gameplay, and a good length. Definitely worth a play.
Trash performance and combat is really annoying.
7.5/10 - Dead Space... with cats! The Good +Great retrofuturism vibes +Pretty interesting story +Collectibles/memos/logs are satisfying to find +Good sound design +Guns feel good with solid variety +You can pet cats! The Not So Good -Largely bland/repetitive enemies -Some chapters can feel repetitive and suffer from pacing issues -Protagonist is a bit forgettable, though solid (think a less interesting Selene from Returnal) Still scratches the Dead Space and RE4 itch, but could've been so much more.
KITTY!!!
