About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Recommended for Survival Horror Fans <3 An original IP that brilliantly combines elements from various survival horror classics—and even throws in some inspiration from other genres. It perfectly blends old-school nostalgia with modern mechanics. The story was gripping, and the challenging gameplay kept me hooked from start to finish. Thank you Bloober Team <3
A classic Bloober release. Game is an unoptimized mess that is suffering from the UE5 syndrome. Everything is blurry even on maxed out graphics settings (without the use of upscaling) on 2k resolution. Furthermore, it's a stutterfest. I managed to get 45-50 fps with RT on but it manages to dip into low 30s in some places. Wouldn't recommend in this state. If you can't play the game, doesn't matter if it's brilliant otherwise.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

8.5 out of 10 A fantastic horror game held back by a few frustrating design choices. Overall I had a great time with this game, That said I do believe this game could of EASILY have been a 10/10. To keep my complaints short and to the point, The lack of a map. I found the lack of map more frustrating than I found it to make the game more "Difficult". The lack of save points or suspend save was frustrating especially when I would be lost some where in the map and needed to stop playing but could NOT save. (not everyone can leave their pcs or console's running.) Another Annoyance was the Translation in the game. ESPECIALLY the hospital area. I found myself having to get within inches of a sign for it to translate eventually... The Boss fights I found to be a mixed bag. Several of them had mechanics that weren't communicated well. Forcing me to look up guides just to understand how I COULD actually beat them. Challenging bosses are GREAT but the solution should come from the game itself, not google. The gore at times was a bit over done and I do understand that was part of the process of this "virus" and I understand that was what the game was going for aesthetic wise but the sheer amount of blood, flesh, veins, vessels etc on the walls, floors and ceilings was definitely a bit too much overall to my liking. The voice acting and Motion capture acting. WHAT WAS THAT AT TIMES?! It went from pretty solid to OG RE1 Levels of bad acting and performances...left me a bit stunned and confused at times to how a new Triple A game could have this kind of BAD quality acting and performance. If they had put just a bit more effort into their overall performances I feel that would've made this game EASILY 10X BETTER! Last criticism/ SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS! But Weronikas overall demise and ending. I hate that despite playing both outcomes theres not a SINGLE good ending for her. and made all the effort and some what emotional attachment i had to these characters feel like it was in vain with no pay off... So despite ALL of those criticisms. I had a LOT of fun. and I did find the story VERY intriguing and leaving me wanting to know more about what happens next. if they would fix all of those issues, then the next game would easily be something more special!
Such is our calling
RE1+RE2+DS+SH2=Cronos
First impressions: - this is an incredibly optimized game - the combat although decently jank, offers a redeeming feel - the design is fine many ways forward consist of killing enemys or finding a code - graphics and atmostphere are incredible - no annoying main character yapping mc dialogue feels natural - not a huge fan of the anomaly system, it feels to strait forward - no hard mode from first playthrough which is a huge gripe of mine
