About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Какая то смесь Dead Space, Silent Hill и Resident Evil. Пока что нечего об игре сказать, буду ждать русской озвучки (не офиц.).

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

cool game
Real solid survival horror. Cool protagonist, generic threat. Fun straightforward gameplay. Your mileage may vary on the story but I love it personally.
it is Time to TIME travel my needy horror fellow gamer!
pas exceptionnel mais bon gameplay, bonne ambiance, histoire mouais
Its like Deadspace, Resident Evil 4, and Netflix series "Dark" had a baby.
This is one of those moderate/lukewarm recommendations. I'm only 5 hours in so take this "review" with a grain of salt. A couple other things important to mention is that I generally enjoy horror games. Alien: Isolation is my all time favorite in the genre, with the first two Dead Space games right there behind it. Going into Cronos, I was kind of hoping for a more atmospheric Dead Space kind of game, and what is here is genuinely scary. They have absolutely nailed the atmosphere with this game. Everything is just awesome to just look at as you're walking around. However, the movement is a bit clunky. There are far too many times where I've died not because I didn't make the right decision, but because I left my self scolding the monitor as I've died for the upteenth time, "that's not what I pressed!" or "that's not what I was trying to do!". I'm putting this game on pause and moving on. I might come back to it. I know there are big fans of this game, and I understand why. The atmosphere and story might just be enough to draw you in and keep you, but it's the gameplay that kills this game for me. Plus, you are punished far too much for wasting resources of any kind. If you walk into an area, for example, and you get rushed by multiple monsters, the game has a way of "training" you into solving those areas in only one way. If you don't figure out the one way the developers have set up the area for you to pass, you will struggle. In action/horror games that I enjoy, the game gives you multiple ways to handle areas, and here, it becomes more and more obvious as you move along that the game only wants you to play a certain way while giving you the illusion of choice. I'm fine with linear games, and in fact I prefer them, but don't present me a game giving me options in order to give me the impression there are multiple ways to handle something, when in fact the game punishes me for not picking the one way that you should take through. With all of that negative out of the way, there are positives that make it a recommendation. It ran great on my PC, and it is possible to play on the Steam Deck if you turn everything to low settings, and even then the game still looks pretty good. Again, the atmosphere and story are really good. The weapons, when they work how they're supposed to, are fun as well. There is a charge mechanic that you had better master soon, because it's the only way you'll get through. When it works, it's satisfying and fun. When it doesn't, it is very frustrating. If you see it go on sale and you're curious and you like survival horror action games go ahead and give this a shot as you might like it. Maybe it isn't for me at the end of the day. I can certainly understand why the challenge of perfecting your shots, perfectly scavenging the areas for materials all the while managing your inventory, and being immersed into this creepy environment would be awesome for some.
This game was such a treat. I feel like it is the spiritual successor to Dead Space. It starts out as a slow burn, with some general action horror sequences, but then slowly builds and twists the plot as you go deeper into the past and find out what was happening. Aside from 2 glaring problems taking me out of the experience now and again (i.e. boltcutters and the physics of some of the traversal), this game is a solid 8/10 for me!
