About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Świetna gra! Fabuła sztos ! polecam
Why do people say this is like Dead Space? Because the character is in a full suit of futuristic looking armor? Because, while I loved this game. I'm really tired of that comparison. For one, there is no limb removal mechanics, and the parts where you jump from platform to platform LOOK like when Issac is in zero G, but they are linear and you just point to where you are going. That means that, if this game is close to anything it is Resident Evil. Actually, I'd say Evil Within because you do have to burn enemy bodies like that game. Seriously, such a misleading comparison especially considering this one is a psychological horror as well that deals with a lot of heady time-space theories and revelations that'll have you coming up with your own ideas on what just happened. It holds its own really well, and I'll be playing this again and thinking on the story until the DLC comes out. Also, beware, it is probably one of the most difficult survival horror games I've ever played.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great action focused survival horror game with some interesting mechanics. The combat itself is kinda the perfect mix of unwieldy, stiff, and extremely satisfying (like any great horror game should be). Its gory with a nice array of weapons and gadgets to defend yourself from the unrelenting horrors. The inventory management is fun and very traditional, but a times it feels so limited due to the lack of space. The environments are cool and locations are varied with different flavors of scifi-brutalism. the first half of the game follows the dead space format of a semi linear level structure with enemy arenas every now and then, but after the second half, it for no reason abandons that idea for a more traditional Resident Evil "mansion" style level structure, in which, you move back and forth a suingle large location collecting keys and solving puzzles; before ultimately abandoning that idea again for the last hour or so when it shifts to a very linear level structure. There are some really great ideas and mechanics that feel very underutilized like enemies being able to absorb corpses to become more powerful. This is made trivial and a nonissue almost instantly the moment you realize that you have access to infinite flamethrower ammo which just eliminates the problem outright. None of the bosses ever engage in this mechanic and eventually some of the enemies just self-immolate after you defeat them. Time travel also seems somewhat underutilized you only ever travel between the future and 1980s Poland. its mainly used as a plot device to move you from one location to the next. The music is a great. A nice combination of analog synths and you stereotypical horror orchestra sounds. It lays nicely in the background of the mix for most of the game without ever becoming too overpowering The voice acting is great and strays away from the usual heavily affected "anime" voice acting that seems to be plaguing the entire VA industry currently. The lore is incomprehensible at times (in the best way). It keeps the player engaged and interested by only divulging small details of the greater world throughout. The art is terrific and has a unique look to it. it lands somewhere between EYE Divine Cybermancy and Cold War era Poland. The story is fun and relatively simple, but kinda rote and predictable which in my opinion contrasts negatively with the overall mysterious and vague world building. It tries to have some complexity by nature of it being a time travel story, but at the end of the day it hits all the typical story beats and tropes without much fanfare. The game starts to feel its length about 80% through the game; spending about 20 hours in total on completing the game without much variation beyond the first 6 hours. You constantly fight the same bosses and find yourself in similar encounters just in different arenas over and over again. Which causes the game to become a slog near the final act, but I'd would still say overall there is enough meat to the combat and story to push the average player to the end. overall I would rate it an 7/10
