Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

The story of Crimson Desert centers on Kliff. But as his tale unfolds, 2 new playable characters—Oongka and Damiane—will come to join your journey. Upgrade the Greymane camp, the starting point in the path to reclaiming the Greymanes' lost homeland of Pailune. Gather resources, cook, fish, hunt, and partake in the other various activities of Pywel for stat replenishment, making your equipment stronger, and more. The game looks really good, no doubt about that. I would say it mostly plays smooth as well. But it just felt so shallow with the characters, the story, the dialog, etc. I'll probably play more at some point, but I wouldn't recommend it at full price if an RPG's story and characters are important to you.

Latest in each market: best KR #24, worst CA #100 · 14 markets collected

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 76.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 313.57/day in the week after.
Of the 13 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 1 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I thoroughly enjoyed the boss battles and exploring as they are the best aspects of this game, but the rest is a whole bunch of meaningless nothing. Mods make this game tolerable, but then it still feels like you're just doing mind-numbing chores at a snail's pace with grindy restrictions.
Man, they were advertising this as “game of the year,” but honestly it feels like one of the worst open‑world games I’ve ever played. Worse than what Ubisoft puts out. The quests are infuriating, the story is terrible, and the voice acting is flat out poor. I was freaking out at how disappointing it all was — it feels like a scam more than a game
not fun, feels more like a chore than a game. graphics are horrendous tbh even on a good rig. ~60-75fps on 1920x1080 with ray reconstruction + dlss4.5 on..... barely 20-30 fps on 4k. without ray reconstruction the indoor lighting looks so bad. environment looks decent some of the time, npcs look like aliens all of the time, story is so boring. literally fast forward simulator and assassin's creed type follow and fetch missions everywhere in the main story line. they said to progress to at least chapter 4 before exploring. it was like pulling teeth getting through that, and the actual writing and especially voice acting are probably the worst part about this game. idk how this got so many acclaimed reviews from youtubers/reddit, it's truly an awful game.
♥♥♥♥ you and the dragon taming mission the devs have so many good ideas but they put in some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as well and most of the monsters it shows you are late game content and you will be fighting humans most of the time. Oh and there is no difference between a orc, goblin, or human. They all have the same voice and act the same. Do not buy it is an overpriced game.
So, I really tried to like this game, but eventually I had to give up trying. This is mainly due to the unbelievable decision taken by the developers to NOT allow remapping of the WASD keys! (I always remap those keys to the arrow keys since I use the mouse with my left hand). I reached out to the developers on this to no avail. I and a few others have posted on social media to no avail. 18 patches post-release and it is still my main bugbear, and it is a game-breaker for me. Aside for the above, there are other issues. The game could have equally been called "Frustration and Climbing Simulator" because you do a LOT of climbing and the frustration with many aspects of the game is very real. Puzzles, trying to get through a waterfall using stab works once every 5 attempts are just 2 examples, but there are many many others. The open world looks great and I did have some fun playing but in the end, I just had to give up.
