It’s About Time - the critically-acclaimed Crash Bandicoot™ 4: It's About Time is now on Steam!

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Sep 9 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mechanically, it's the fuzzy marsupial's best game to date. Once you get into the proper flow state regarding jumping and weaving through obstacles and enemies, everything clicks remarkably well. Crash has never felt so good to control, and I never felt like a missed jump was the game's fault. Level design-wise, it's easily the toughest Crash game by a pretty fair margin, which is great if you're a seasoned fan of the series, or platformers in general, but less so if you're leaning more towards casual play. The real hiccups start once you start gunning for 100% completion: Whether the devs felt they needed to justify the $60 price tag, or simply getting a bit too crazy while designing levels, the game starts to go from a tough, but reasonable romp, to an excruciatingly brutal marathon of collectibles and frustration and it's all due to the length of levels and the unnecessarily brutal gem requirements. Older Crash titles had smaller, bite-sized levels, and you certainly didn't have to worry too much about dying and losing a gem (outside of Crash 1), so you never felt bad about dying or restarting a stage. Not so here, as the stages can drag on for a long, LONG time, and one error can potentially waste minutes at a time as you're forced to reset the stage because you missed a box that the devs decided to deviously hide juuuust offscreen in a corner during a particularly hard platforming segment, or behind a set of stairs that you can't see due to the camera perspective. You want to know what makes it feel even worse? The N.Verted levels, which are the same stages but with a visual filter thrown on top, also have their own separate set of gems to grab, so you technically have to run through a stage multiple times: Both for the original stage AND the N.Verted stage. And that's before we start getting into the Time Relics. So why am I still recommending this game despite the pain points? Because as stated at the start, it's a great game if you ignore the nonsense 100% completion requirements. If you gotta have everything, or simply don't want to deal with the frustration, I'd strongly recommend grabbing the Crash 4 N.Hanced mod off of Nexus Mods or Gamebanana, as it effectively goes about addressing all of my pain points regarding 100% and makes it a significantly less frustrating and bumpy experience. TL;DR: An overall great entry in the franchise, but easily the hardest to 100% (to the game's detriment).

12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best PL #50, worst US #99 · 9 markets collected

Look, I loved Crash 3. And this is really good....at the start. For a casual, no care for trying to perfect and 100%, its perfectly fine. Oh boy its the worse thing if your like me and actually care about getting 100% (or whatever max percent is, crash games usually go beyond 100%) The spike in difficulty in trying to get all of the crates is SO LARGE!! Yes, this is just me being bad. But that's in comparison to their expectations of being good!! Not only that, YOU HAVE TO GET ALL THE CRATES WITH-OUT-DYING!! I may just have been babied by crash 3 and the fact that not dying isn't required for completion. Personally though, why would they bring it back from crash 1!?!? WE LEFT IT THERE FOR A REASON!!! The worse part is, THE AMOUNT OF WAITING YOU HAVE TO DO FOR RESETING!!!! Usually a long wait for resetting isn't that bad because its really only gonna take you a handful of times to do. I DIED 39 TIMES ON A LEVEL AND WASN'T EVEN HALFWAY THERE!!! Aku Aku masks are just plain useless now and the new masks are even worse, they feel unoriginal in their abilities. (I won't say so people that want to still play can go in free of spoilers) To be frank, should just used the powers from crash 3 again. Also while I am at it, why are the level sooooo long. This makes the previous statements so much worse, more places to die, more horrible box placements, and just more boxes in general. I am luck to just see 100ish boxes, and even then it is a pain. Also the difficulty is inconsistent, yes I stated it just spiked quickly but then it drops back down....JUST TO STAB YOU IN THE BACK A MOMENT LATER!!!! I think that is about it, so conclusion. Yeah no it sucks, I will probably slave away at it anyways (mainly just playing CTR on a emulator, I don't have a console) Hopefully I can get it done quickly so I can buy and enjoy Crash N-Sane Trilogy. Without even touching it, I would recommend Crash N-Sane Trilogy just because I know Crash 3 is in it. Please save your mind, money, and time, get Crash N-Sane Trilogy instead (even if you played them on a emulator recently, save yourself!!!)
La 4ta entrega verdadera.
This is an amazing game for anyone who is wanting to play casually with a variety of characters and abilities to learn and master. On the other hand, as one of the many that completed the 106% challenge I can say with my whole heart that YOU SHOULD NOT TRY IT. I spent 120+ hours getting it. To anyone who wants to try it, good luck.
Extremely an amazing game, i played all of the games even the old ones on my PSP and completed it all. Feels amazing to return to this franchise especially with the newer version of the game. Still the good ol Crash Bandicoot that i know off, this franchise will always have a special place in my heart <3
Amazing 2.5D platformer. Great timing, wonderful enemies, funny story. I've never played any games in the series. I originally had this for my PS5, but I could never make it past the final stage. Steam is now offering it and I had to buy it and try again. I haven't beaten it yet, but I'm about 80% of the way through it.
Excelente
