Reviews
Brings a lot of the energy from collectathons of old, lots of silly moments and great music, levels and bosses with a lot of simple collectables. The movement is quick and fluid and satisfying to get a solid handle on. Biggest issue with the game is some of the bugs that remain throughout, particularly with the counting of ancient coins and stopwatches.
I found Clive 'N Wrench a bit rough round the edges, janky and needing a bit of polish, but i still really enjoyed it! Nice character designs (I love Luigi Lucarelli's art!), some fun themed levels that are nicely designed, nice music, tons of things to collect, amusing puns and lots of little touches. Really enjoyable traversal moveset too - jumping around just feels good. Some animation and physics bugs and patches of unpolished visuals bring it down a little but it didnt stop me from having a great time in my 8 hours to completion. It was a more substantial game than i expected, and i'm continuing on post-game to collect all the stuff and unlock some secrets! If you can live with some of the rough patches, you'll have a good time with this fun mascot platformer. I'd love to see what a sequel could do with a bigger budget / team, but nontheless, Clive N' Wrench is an incredible achievement for such a small team! I even bought a 2nd copy as a gift for a friend to support the devs further!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Glitchy, weird, unpleasant mess. I'm on the second level, and I've already had to restart 3 times due to being stuck accidentally out of bounds or in a place where none of the buttons could help me get dislodged. I got notification that I fully completed the 2nd level and then spent 15 minutes wandering around the hub trying to figure out why nothing else would open up, only to find out there is a boss fight back in the area that it told me I was done with, through an area that doesn't seem like a door, and doesn't indicate would should be progressed through. Now I'm in the boss fight, and there's no indication of what I should be doing or trying, and I'm going to have to go read/watch a walkthrough for the 2nd time in 10 minutes, not because I can't solve a puzzle... but because the game design has no indicators whatsoever of what I should even be trying to do. It's just not fun. If this is the beginning of the game, how bad does it get later? I tolerate a lot of mediocre 3D platformers. For some reason this one is less tolerable. EDIT: It got worse. The train boss fight is impassible due to broken controls and camera.
the controls are really bad ... i deinstalled after 30 minutes cannot recommend
Don't really have to much to say since this is a really basic platformer, so basic that there's nothing that sand out about it besides how it badly tells it's story. However, if you can get past the awful storytelling or inconsistent combat and once you get use to the controls the levels are still a lot of fun to explore with little to annoy you unless you're going for all achievements. I mean I enjoyed my time with it. What I'm trying to say is that even you're rated with Bs and Cs, there still passing grades.
Clive n Wrench is a game where if crash bandicoot and spyro had a baby then gave it to banjo and kazooie to raise the game had a ton of potential but sadly the gameplay let it down clive feels like he is always on clouds floating around and when you land he is suddenly on ice and slips everywhere the hit detection works when it feels like itand the bugs theres alot im sure the devs did the best they could at the time but the game need a little more polish get clive controls smooth and a better hit detection i played on pc with controller and couldnt find a way to speed up camera either so turning was a pain and a restart level would be amazing for the people going to 100% as the bluebeard achievement is insane get hit once load out load back in and everytime you gotta watch that load screen a restart level is needed all and all its not worth 42 AUD if your still curious then wait for a sale
loads of fun, clearly made with a lot of love for the genre
Modern take on classic 3D platformers, Really Awesome. All Stages are diverse and interesting.
Th controls are very floaty and the camera is all over the place.
