Boring and repetitive Unity asset-flip of a game. Funny for about 10 seconds and then overstays its welcome by hours with awful controls. Struggles to run on a Steamdeck. I'm really glad this dev was so inspired by squirrel stapler that they decided to lazily staple a gun to one. Bloated boring game with a dumb gimmick. Wait for the next funny YouTube game to come out and throw a few bucks at something that actually deserves your time. This is a waste of it that you'll never get back.
Squirrel with a gun is a pretty cool critter, eh kills Agents and doesn't afraid of anything

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

game is not very fun and it is very easy to get soft locked
Amazing game. If this had been released in the early 2000s, it would already be a Greatest Hit, or at least a cult classic like Earthworm Jim, Voodoo Vince, Conker, and many others. I enjoyed the first 99 minutes I played right after downloading it, and I'd be playing even more if my backlog weren't so overwhelming. This is the kind of game I come back to whenever I get burned out by bigger titles. I love the feeling of turning off my brain, letting myself go, and Squirrel with a Gun delivers exactly that.
I've had quite a bit of fun, and I'm not even done yet, maybe halfway through all the content after 8 hours (it could be done a lot faster if you look things up, but that spoils the fun). It's like a 3D platformer with puzzle elements, and a squirrel with a gun. That's really the appeal here. It's a meme, for sure, but it's a fun meme. It's not meant to be a sprawling epic that's going to bring you to tears or have any signature moments that'll shape the landscape of gaming. It's actually meant to just be entertaining, and I will say they definitely succeeded. I see a lot of uninspired and empty reviews just saying, "It's bad." One thing to keep in mind here, this is it's own game. It uses a lot of things from other games but I've never played a game that feels exactly like it, and I've been gaming for 30 years. It took me like an hour or two to really get the feel of it, and you likely will too (if you're getting older and slower like me xD). Once I did though, I played for like 4 hours straight. 8/10 I hate having to put this in every review now, but the game runs great on my pc and should run good on yours (provided you're playing on a pc with graphic acceleration). 1440p Ultra at a manually locked 120fps with no drops, stutters, or pop-in. Stats were tracked over 10 minutes of gameplay with Afterburner.
Verdict: Goat simulator, but Squirrel. It is stupid as hell, but where alse can you execute a secret agent with a rocket launcher while dressed as a possum in ballerina dress and ninja mask? + Positives + + Steam achievements (20, single playthrough, 8 hours without an issue) + A lot of costumes + 10 weapons + A lot of post launch content was added + Activities are actually kinda fun to solve + Tons of easter eggs (some in literally sense) + It is stupid, but you know that coming in + Soundtrack kicks ass honestly, big fan of Take Your Shot – Negatives – - No steam trading cards - Soundtrack needed more tracks - Car handling is terrible - Some acrons can bug out
Genuinely surprised at the positive reviews on this game when it felt soulless, janky, and boring. The controls constantly fight you while playing with how janky they are, the assets are all flipped, the comedy is uninspiring and mostly bad pop culture references. I'd recommend skipping unless you enjoy a below average game that tries to do a lot and can't stick the landing on anything.
It ran fine, but very glitchy, bad graphics, not worth the hype. Wait for a massive sale.
I was so excited for this game. Unfortunately it made my pc crash and it won't turn back on. It was weeks ago and it still doesn't turn on. I'd be careful before playing it, maybe try lowering the graphics first.
