Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

the best game ever created ...EVER
one of the greatest JRPGs ever made
第一次没能救下拉拉,突然明白存档是属于玩家的时空门。菲奥娜,罗伯,篝火夜谈,四百年的时光很难不触动人心。当然如果真的有时空门,请阻止我碰龙之圣域。

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It has suddenly become glitchy. The game is stuck ins a nonstop ''upward''' cursor movement, both in menus and in actual gameplay. It's become impossible top play.
Crashes too much
Gud RPG by Square Enix, first time playing through. Reminds me of playing FF6 for the first time.
It's a bad port but the game is amazing. It has an OG Dragon Ball vibe kinda and the characters are also really cool. It's really sad that they haven't remade this game yet just like the other JRPG games like Dragon Quest 1-3. Hopefully one day, they will do that. Anyways, I'm sad to announce that I won't be playing this port anymore, I couldn't finish it because I got stuck, but I will play the DS version once I have that. I still don't wanna rate this game bad, even though the port is ass. I loved the time I had with this game and that's what counts for me.
I genuinely don't know why it took me so long to finally play Chrono Trigger. I'm a massive RPG fan and a huge Dragon Ball Z fan, so with Akira Toriyama's art style, this game should have been on my radar years ago. One of the first things that really stood out to me was the art style. Being such a big DBZ fan, I instantly loved the character designs and the overall look of the game. Even after all these years, it still looks fantastic and has so much personality. Then there's the music. The soundtrack is absolutely incredible. There are so many memorable tracks, and the music fits the different locations, characters and moments perfectly. It's one of those soundtracks that really adds to the adventure rather than just sitting in the background. The battle system was another big surprise for me. It's incredibly easy to pick up and understand, but there's still plenty to think about with different characters, abilities and Tech combinations. I never felt like I was fighting against complicated menus or systems — I could just enjoy the battles and experiment with my party. The story is fantastic as well, although I'll admit there were a few moments where I found it a little hard to follow. I honestly think that's more on me than the game, especially with everything involving time travel and different eras. But even when I wasn't completely sure what was happening, I still wanted to keep going and find out what happened next. That's probably what impressed me most about Chrono Trigger: everything just works together so well. The art, music, characters, story, exploration and combat all complement each other. Nothing feels like it's there just for the sake of it. It's also surprisingly easy to pick up and play considering its age. Sometimes going back to older RPGs can feel like hard work because of outdated mechanics, but Chrono Trigger doesn't really have that problem. It still feels incredibly playable today. After finally playing it, I completely understand why Chrono Trigger is held in such high regard. It's not just a great RPG for its time — it's a masterpiece, full stop. I just wish I'd played it sooner.
