Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

solid horror experience with really good writing and atmosphere. it really has only one main issue, which is that it's often frustratingly vague about where you need to go in order to progress the story. i had no idea there was even a fast-travel system because i unknowingly left the area that teaches you this for last (which would've saved me a lot of tediousness while replaying for completion). i wish there were some more hints besides chasing the titular static, but outside of that it's definitely worth a try.
The game is okay. Voice actors did a pretty good job and I like the graphics style. The story didn't really grab me, even though it had some neat ideas that didn't seem like they got fleshed out. The Welsh? setting was pretty thin and inconsistent. Several times I missed one single item and ended up in walking simulator hell searching everywhere for what I missed. There was one single time an enemy came at me and I had to use the weapon thingy that didn't really get explained. One single enemy. I'm gonna try Hollowbody but I can't say I recommend this one. Also, the protagonist was whiny and I couldn't pet the sheep.

I would recommend this game.
it's not bad, but it's pretty boring after the intro
Chasing Static is a really good indie game that blends psychological thriller with sci-fi horror, and while some aspects aren't as compelling or fully realized (character relationships, realizations and emotional weight are cursory at best), this is still a pretty solid story-driven game. It's heavy on the walking sim side, but if you're into intriguing storytelling, do give this a try. The retro graphics also help with the atmosphere, making it feel like it really is in the 90s.
Histoire cohérente et bien amenée. Très immersif
7/10
Interesting short scifi/horror game, which is all about exploration and atmosphere. You can finish it it one weekend, but it's a good premise, you use a sort of radio to tap into the unknown world around you, and try to figure out what's going on. I think if you can get it on sale, it's worth it.
Hm ok....nicht wirklich was für mich.....Aber wer es mag ok.
