Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.63/day in the week to Aug 3 → 21.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Cast n Chill's a laid-back fishin’ game for folks who’d rather wet a line than break a sweat. Whether yer driftin’ on a lazy lake, pokin’ 'round a winding river, or droppin’ lines in salty blue water, this here’s a game where you set the pace.
Start with the basics, catch whatever bites, sell your haul, and put those coins toward better rods, reels, and upgrades. Before ya know it, you’ll be wranglin’ rare species that’d make any angler green with envy.

Find yer favourite fishin’ hole or keep wanderin’. There’s 16 peaceful spots to discover, each with its own critters swimmin’ 'round, just waitin’ to bite.

In Active Mode, you’re in the thick of it - castin’, reelin’, and keepin’ busy like a loon at nesting time.
Switch to Passive Mode if you’d rather let the game do the work while you’re off choppin’ wood.
Set it up on a second monitor or tuck it in the corner - come back later and see what kind o’ haul the fish gods left ya.
There’s 50+ fish to discover - some you’ll recognize, some you’ll squint at and go “what in the heck is that?” From scrappy little sunfish to big ol’ deepwater beasts, they’re all in the logbook waitin’ for your name.

There’s 16 fish out there that still get folks jabberin’ at ol' Rusty's bait shop like they saw Bigfoot ride a moose. Land one, and you'll be part o' the legend.
Grab your rod and call a buddy, Cast 'n Chill now has co-op! Whether you’re lookin’ to kick back and fish side-by-side or stir up a bit of friendly competition, it’s all better with company.

Nothin’ beats a day on the lake with a four-legged friend. They might not know a spinnerbait from a spoon, but they’ll help you spot a fish - if only 'cause they’re hopin’ for a bite themselves.

Roll up your sleeves and bring a worn down lakeside shack back to life, then kick back and enjoy the quiet while fishin’ off your own dock. Stock your pond, mount replicas of your best catches, and settle in while your trusty companion curls up by the fire.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how cozy and relaxing Cast n Chill is. It was such a comfortable and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
I want to start by saying that this is a really nice game. The music is solid, the background and ambience is a vibe, and the overall game is really solid, hence why I'm giving it a positive review. However, there are a couple of criticisms I want to bring attention to, because they make the overall experience worse: 1. This game isn't truly an idle game. Yes, you can rune the game in idle mode, and the fisher will indeed catch fish, but the method for selecting which fish to catch is truly random, and you can idle for a day and never catch a certain fish because the idler didn't pick that one. Additionally, the fisher isn't the greatest at reeling in the fish, so it takes a bit longer on idle mode. 2. Reeling in fish sucks. I'm no fishing expert, but I don't believe it's realistic that fish can fight you so hard that they'll yank the line double the initial distance without breaking the line. Catching a legendary fish will take a few minutes, not because it takes more effort, but because the fish will just pull away with no way to stop it and increase the distance to the map limit before you can even try pulling again. 3, There aren't as many fish as you think. For a game that's this size and price, I was a little disappointed to see that some fish repeat and appear in several areas of the map. Once you catch a fish in one area, it's already completed in the rest, so there's no point in trying to catch it elsewhere. I do really enjoy this game, and I want it to be the perfect idle game. If the devs would fix some of these issues, this truly would be one of the best idle games out there, and I hope they at least don't make the same mistakes in their upcoming next game.
Man I love fishin
could have a bit more skill expression, but i get that it is a chillaxing game, so i guess thats ok. looks beautiful, alot of different fishes. progression system is cool.
