Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront offers a choice of game modes including Singleplayer, dynamic campaign, PvE, PvP and co-op.
With its instantly switchable views, there’s something for every type of player. First person gunner views for all vehicles, third person views for vehicles and infantry, classic top-down direct control of a single unit or classic RTS top-down; they are all available and instantly switchable.
Conquest (dynamic campaign) mode offers singleplayer and co-op modes to play with your friends. Both modes allow you to compose your own army group, research new units and strategically advance in different paths to dominate the battlefield. The dynamic campaign can range from short to unlimited campaign lengths.
PvP/PvE offers a wide variety of maps from 1v1 to 4v4, and the use of “Doctrines”. These allow you to choose your own special units that fit your individual playstyle. The stage of the war (Early/Mid/Late) can be selected, to experience the evolution of equipment and vehicles as the conflict progressed.
Single player campaigns take place at historical locations, painstakingly recreated and immersive as hell.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 25.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game but it could do without inventory management it feels so tacked on for the sake of having it.
If you like Company of Heroes, but wish to have a less arcadey exerience, Gates of Hell is the closest you'll get. The game is slower, more realistic and it offers more features for each unit. Ammo types matter. Units can be equipped with whatever you please. A mistake is more costly and a victory is more rewarding. The game doesn't look very good for a game released in 2021. It's very outdated. Unit animations aren't always the best. But it looks realistic, gloomy and gritty, which suits a game named after the Eastern front in WW2. The atmosphere, sound design and general look are good despite the outdated graphics. However, the AI is HORRENDOUS. Vehicles have a tendency to move somewhere and then turn around, presenting their weak rear armor to enemies. Getting soldiers to face the correct way in their trenches can be a huge pain. Units will not run away from the enemy unless they're commanded to hold their fire, meaning they can get a retreat order, run for a bit, then stand still and fire at the enemy in the open, resulting in their swift demise. The AI also won't fire on enemies in the same building as them. If you put your units in a building, and an enemy outflanks them and enters via the backdoor, they'll just stand there and let themselves get mowed down by a single soldier. A ton of micro is required to take care of all these little hiccups. They won't always bother you, but it certainly is really annoying when it happens. There's a load of campaigns to play and they're generally pretty fun, but you'll get screwed over by random events such as a sudden artillery bombardment, wiping out all your units without warning. The AI might suddenly attack from a completely unexpected direction without any hint being given as to this being a possibility. The enemy AI also has a tendency to rush you without much care given for strategy. It doesn't matter whether it's the Germans, Americans, Brits or Soviets (who contrary to popular belief didn't use quite that much human wave strategies); all of them will bum-rush you with their tanks and infantry without a care in the world, while you need to properly micro everything to counter their nonsense tactics. It's by no means a bad game, but it can be very intense and at times frustrating. Don't expect clean results. Every battle will be bloody and you'll get screwed over by something, whether that's the game yanking your pizzle, your AI refusing to turn and shoot, or your tanks voluntarily receiving backshots. You can overcome this, but don't expect to walk away with low casualities.
Kampanie i tryb Dynamic Conquest zapewniają dziesiątki, a nawet setki godzin zabawy, a wsparcie dla modów jeszcze bardziej wydłuża żywotność gry.
