unsafe on Steam MP do not play if you arent gonna use Plutonium or some other stuff UPDATE THE MP SERVERS ARE BACK UP I'd still recommend staying away from steam mp since they didnt patch anything i tried stuff myself it worked they didnt do anything also if you see someone named CidsHook in your lobby that lobby isnt an activision lobby its his own so just keep playing on plutonium or something bunch of exploits in this game the campaign is good but who buys CoD games for campaign??
Just making people aware, If you want to play ANY call of duty multiplayer prior to black ops 3, there's has been an unpatched RCE exploit since launch allowing bad actors to remotely control your pc if they desire. If you do want to play the Multiplayer safely, There is a community run launcher that fixes these issues called Plutonium.

USE PLUTONIUM IF YOU WANT TO PLAY MP This game is affected by CVE-2018-20817, a publicly documented Remote Code Execution vulnerability rated 9.8/10 (CRITICAL) by NIST's National Vulnerability Database. The vulnerability can allow attackers to remotely execute arbitrary code on a player's computer. This is a serious security issue, not simply a cheating or multiplayer problem. Despite this, the game remains available for purchase on Steam without any disclosure of this vulnerability to customers. Valve should investigate the issue and either require the publisher to fix it, clearly disclose the security risk to customers, or remove the game from sale until the vulnerability is addressed. Black Ops 2 is OUT NOW on Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 and July 9th 2026 marks Black Ops Day! We can all FINALLY enjoy this game again without hackers and modders like the good ole days!! Já se passaram 14 anos e até agora não conseguiram fazer um COD a altura desse!!! Os CODs atuais parecem que não tem o brilho do Black Ops II, esse jogo consegue ser divertido e balanceado em absolutamente tudo! Infelizmente é uma época de ouro que não voltará mais :(
Serveurs fermés, il n'est plus possible jouer en multijoueur désormais. Edit, les serveurs sont revenus donc on a de nouveau accès à une partie du multijoueur. L'éthique d'Activision ne me permet pas de changer ma note. Et c'est toujours plein de cheater.

First off, this is an amazing Pc Port, which runs very well on modern Hardware unlike bo1 2nd: don't buy the game normally wait for the sale 3rd: avoid playing in public matches, because you will get hacked only play with people you know
