About
Breathedge 2 is a humorous survival adventure set in space, following an ordinary Man and his perfectly ordinary space problems. It’s a direct sequel to Breathedge, but don’t worry if you never played the first game: everything will be equally confusing to Breathedge veterans and complete newcomers alike.
The Breathedge Corporation unexpectedly started a galaxy-wide war, built an enormous army of Coffinbots, and attacked the largest human settlements. The Man and his faithful companion, an AI living inside his spacesuit, accidentally derailed the Corporation’s plans for a swift takeover and instantly became the number-one target of every hostile Coffinbot out there. Apparently, fate still wasn’t satisfied. Having barely survived, our heroes suddenly find themselves under attack by their own allies.
Who attacked whom? Who is Babe? Why does the Man need a Chicken? Where were we even going? And what are we supposed to do with all this duct tape? Figuring that out is now your problem.
Breathedge 2 is a story-driven adventure where exploring the world is a major part of the experience. Along the way, you’ll get to know the Man and his crew, learn more about life on the distant fringes of inhabited space, meet new characters, and gradually untangle the forces carving up the galaxy between them.
Explore abandoned stations, ruined settlements, shipwrecks, and plenty of places no reasonable person would ever think of entering. Discover other people’s stories, strange devices, useful junk, and completely useless one-of-a-kind treasures. Some discoveries will be funny, others strange or unsettling, and a few may help you understand what is actually going on and what part you have to play in it.
Hunted from every direction, the heroes of Breathedge 2 are forced to survive in some of the harshest conditions on the fringes of inhabited space. There are no 24-hour stores or banana smoothies out here, but there is an ocean of duct tape, tons of wreckage, and the Man’s remarkably capable hands, ready to turn all that garbage into surprisingly useful contraptions.
Learn new blueprints, craft tools and equipment, and upgrade both your gear and your spacesuit. Repair and dismantle machinery, gather resources, find ways into inaccessible places, and venture farther and farther from anything resembling safety. Out in open space, you’ll need to keep an eye on your oxygen, temperature, and various other little details capable of bringing your adventure to a premature end. Occasionally, you’ll also have to fight, run away, and shove aside the bodies of less fortunate astronauts.
Breathedge 2 is currently in Early Access and is still actively being developed. At the start of Early Access, the game includes its first major story chapter, a large area to explore, and its core gameplay systems. The story is not yet complete, parts of the world are still inaccessible, and some systems will continue to grow and evolve throughout development.
During Early Access, we plan to release major updates that continue the story and add new areas, mechanics, characters, items, and other features. At the same time, we may continue refining existing content, balance, UI, performance, and fixing issues as they are discovered.
Player feedback is an important part of this process. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and for all the comments that give us both inspiration and a fresh perspective on the game. Please keep sharing your feedback with us wherever you can. It helps us make Breathedge 2 even better.

Hi All, This game is awesome after 2-3 hours I can clearly state. Tipically brings the good old vibe and feelings even if we are not alone in the very beginning of the game. The atmosphere still grabbed me, the music, the world we explore, the details are rolling and pushing. Something still push us further and further till our edge of our very last breath and then BOOM, some joke or funny event just came in, as you do not expect. :) The crafting system is very detailed and brings many solutions. I could make long list about the positivity, but it is not hat section. Just grab it and play with it! The sale price worth it, very worth it and I'm glad that I can play this through again after the 1st 10/10 episode. Thank you for the developer Team and keep up the good work! Appreciate Guys!
In its current state the game is pretty cool. It's funny. It's whimsical. If you're here for the story it's excellent. My problems lie in the survival aspects of the gameplay. I'll just say it straight off the bat. Dying in the early game is hugely benificial while you are punished for surviving. The higher the difficulty you play the worse this gets, with the exception of hardcore of course. When you die your character is returned to the starting train with half oxygen, food and water, you lose all buffs and debuffs, and your non-tool items are dropped where you died where you can pick them all back up. So dying has: -Upside: You are teleported back to base, the only place you get oxygen at the start, saving you the return trip time. -Upside: You don't have to worry about food and water as you simply die to reset them. -Upside: You gain 300 oxygen by dying that doesn't get taken out of your overall oxygen stores. Free oxygen! -Upside: you lose all debuffs that are generally gained from a lack of food, water and/or rest. -Downside: You lose all buffs. This is only a downside IF you have a buff, generally from an energy item. -Upside: Your collected items are left at the place you died, saving you carrying the weight back out to it... where you want it to be because it's only useful where you died... there's really no reason to ever bring it back to the train. Surviving however has: -Downside: Running out of food, water stacks debuffs that affects your rest. -Downside: Running out of rest slows your movement speed. -Downside: Wasting time on the return trip to the train. -Upside: You maintain any buffs you have, only an upside if you have any buffs to maintain (buffs come from temporary rare items that last less time than you have oxygen) -Downside: You have to lug all the weight you've collected back and forth from the train to where you need it. In its current state, this is a survival game where you very much do not want to be surviving. Attempting to do so isn't just a complete waste of time and effort, it is actively harming your progression through the game.
