TL;DR: Fun, difficult game. Highly recommend if the videos on the store page look interesting to you. BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a pioneer that helped create a subgenre of games: the rhythm FPS game. It and Metal Hellsinger released at similar times; one is a roguelite, the other is a story game with fixed levels. Having played both, they are both good, but BPM probably has the higher replay value and more interesting gameplay. Hellsinger certainly has more polish, but this is the game I enjoyed more. It does have the standard gripes about roguelike/roguelite games such as some upgrades/equipment that are not very good, but that's par for the course in to the genre to me. I'd say there are only a handful items that are truly useless, everything else can be useful in the right context. The music is quite good, though not groundbreaking. It does what it needs to do (from a gameplay standpoint): have a strong, driving beat to keep you in rhythm while playing. Despite my many, many failures with Sanngrior, I still like the music in the first area (and the others), so it holds its own even after listening to the same song for hours over the course of my playtime. Some complaints: The key economy is kinda bad, and the gold economy is ok. Key economy: There are sets of three locked chests that spawn in some rooms where one chest has an item in it, and the other two have an enemy. It is somewhat rare that you have enough keys to justify spending up to 3 keys on a single item that may not even be useful. There are also altars that take 1-5 (or maybe 6?) keys to give you an item; these key altars seem to usually give very good items, but there's still a reasonably high chance it is useless to you. The problem is that an average floor probably gives you 2-5 keys (biased strongly toward the low end of that range). (There is an item that gives you infinite keys) Gold economy: Personally, I think the root of the gold economy issue is that there are not enough ways to manipulate how much gold you get. There's also the bank. The bank is great, because some runs you're flush with gold and some runs you're strapped, but the problem is the bank is random chance to spawn, so you could beat a run without seeing a single bank. If the bank was in fixed locations throughout the run I think it would do a lot to mitigate my complaints about the gold economy, and would help a bit with the key economy (since they are sometimes for sale at the shop). The movement is quite good for the main part of the game, however there is (optional) parkour in some levels to get to hidden chests/altars and the movement system makes that harder than it feels like it should be. It is lacking in fine control. Also, every once in a while I don't get my jump off the ground and instead consume my double jump. This is probably due to the geometry of the ground I was standing on, but it feels bad every time it happens, and can get you killed. Finally, an actual gripe (though one that there is some mitigation for in the game settings): Colors. This game has very poor contrast, which sometimes makes it hard in stupid ways. There are settings to shift the colors of the different areas, as well as change their saturation. I haven't messed with them, as for the most part I have no problems with it.

Short summary... Guitar Hero with guns. Really worth buying. This game is really well done, I am a drummer and drummers have rhythm. And guess what! If you dont shoot or reload on the Beat Per Minute, your guy will not shoot. So the fact that the gun shots and reloading sound and abilities actually have to be on beat can give you an idea that you add to how the music sounds! Levels are always randomly generated and you clear room for room. Fight bosses so it's really worth the price!
Really god. Almost impossible to play if your a corny white boy
Metal:HS
It's difficult to see as well as play. The bpm is too low, even for lower difficulty. It's difficult to shoot, especially with the limited range.
начал отрывать свою сердечно-сосудистую систему под бит
I fear peak has been created and it resides in this game. For as long as I remember I shot my guns in fps to the music I listen to, these mf's turned it into a feature and by god did they do it well. The guns feel good and well balanced (revolver my goat) with a lot of variety in runs, through characters or just the music. Speaking of which the ability to add custom music to the game and have the core mechanic of the game be so customisable is insanely well done. I'd recommend this game to anyone I know that has hands because of the joy it brings to me when playing. 9/10.
Fast paced while shooting to the rhythm. Creative solutions is necessary. Taking on the challenges is puzzling, be thoughtful on how to execute your movement. The guns you're using changes the overall style of playing. The power-ups grants a special condition that gives different potentials in effectiveness. However, you'll be getting lots of chances to upgrade. You can go for harder challenges. Powerful sets in levels can be selected, also choosing is the best way to finish and complete the game. Be aware of the decisions, it'll impact the variations of enemies you'll battle against.
