♥♥♥♥ this game, especially mission 2 of the USA - Mexican campain. I have experienced several bugs and some objects you can walk thru. Positive thing I can say about it is that I like the art style, It has a Borderlands/comic vibe to it.

I'm guessing I ended up with this through the jingle jam purchase... crap game, not worth buying, glad I didn't reeeally pay for it. It's amazing how bad movement feels in such a simple game. What you're probably looking for is Papers, Please.
After beating this game, I feel confident I am now fully trained to work any government job.
So. Boring. Papers please (from 2013! Wow!) is genuinely a video game masterclass in atmosphere, storytelling and gameplay. But you know how good it is. When an indie makes it big, a lot of people are going to develop re-imaginings of the core pillars, and add new ideas. Border Force is papers please in 3d. And it sucks. I genuinely thought there was something wrong with my pc because the movement is sooo bad, it feels like im a wobbly capsule and a script that was pulled from stack overflow. The toon outline shader they use is very bad, and it looks strange when multiple objects are together. The game feels "ai generated" in the sense that it's just "papers please, in 3d, with some social commentary about Brexit and Donald Trump." It feels unoriginal and derivative in a way that's unfortunately normalized in 2026. With that being said, I got the game from a bundle. It is unethical to charge 10$ for this on steam. I dont hate the devs, I wish them the best. It's hard to make games.
