For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bonbon, trauma through a child's eyes
Bonbon tries to take on a task not many games try to achieve, conveying childhood trauma accurately through a child's eyes. Many games try to display trauma, fear, and anguish in somewhat comprehensible ways that show how the victim felt, but even fewer tackle the topic of children, especially in a stylized way. Bonbon does, and it does it well. This is where, in my opinion, the most important comparison comes in. Bonbon, the rat, is trapped in a cage, being observed by everyone else who is so much bigger than him. Symbolically, that is how our character, the child, feels. This feeling of childlike helplessness gets complemented by the control scheme, a point of contention for many other players, but in my view a must. The movement feels odd and sluggish. You freeze randomly and sometimes cannot move. To me, that doesn't feel like the game is badly coded. It feels intentional, like a representation of how a child suffering from anxiety related trauma acts and goes throughout their day. And it works. You really feel like a small, helpless child struggling with menial tasks because they are scared by their trauma. And that's where the horror comes from. It's psychological, symbolic horror at its finest. You won't get an insane atmosphere or jumpscares from this game, but instead a journey that makes you feel the story. I can only recommend it.
A short freaky game that freaked me out and gave me some good scares without making me too terrified. It was neat to feel like a scared little kid again. In a controlled way, of course.
Okay I'm very scaredy in general but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the atmosphere in this game is insane. The way the game makes you feel helpless and powerless in every situation is crazy. Amazing sound design + horrifying rat. 12/10
Controls are fine the game even tells you that moving while holding things is hard for your puny child body. That said, the game is ok. The one jumpscare hits and its an interesting experience. Worth checking out and it costs less than a coffee.
