About

This is the game you have been waiting your whole sick life for. Experience what has been called "the most realistic gore system ever" in Raid, Sandbox and Arcade combat modes. Take on the role of a heartless killer for hire and see why Blood Trail has come to be known as "the most violent game in VR".
You are Wendigo. A hard-hearted contract killer tasked with annihilating a fanatical cult.
Built from the ground up for VR using proprietary character physics and gore systems, Blood Trail offers an unprecedented shooting experience not for the faint of heart.
With realistic gun mechanics and medically accurate damage effects, you will have no margin for error as you use your pistol, shotgun, rifle and fists to become the last man standing in this nightmarish and brutal scenario.
Did we mention that this game features the world's first virtual crack pipe?
Early Access to Blood Trail gives you several ways to satisfy your unhealthy, violent urges:
Raid -- battle across 9 huge handcrafted trails that end in semi-dynamic outposts full of people to murder.
Survival Mode -- stack the bodies high in 6 unique arena style maps where you will face an onslaught of enemies in a fast-paced shootout.
Sandbox -- Abstract environments for soothing, stress-relieving violence.
THERE'S A LONG TRAIL AHEAD!
The full release of Blood Trail will feature a story driven, single-player campaign with infiltration style missions as well as huge shootouts and quiet moments of terror. You will get to know Wendigo and the fanatical members of Neptune's Vow and encounter plenty of surprises along the way....
Blood Trail is just getting started. We are very early in development and will be improving EVERY aspect of the game:
More arcade mode maps
More evil things to do in sandbox mode
More weapons
More enemy types
More ways to murder and maim
More drugs
MORE VIOLENCE!
There is also an experimental branch where you can test out cool upcoming features before they make it to the main game!

Man sollte aber wissen, was man hier kauft. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ★ ENGLISH ★ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Blood Trail is, for me, one of the most brutal VR games I know. Honestly, I do not know any other VR game that delivers violence, hit reactions, gore, and that dirty atmosphere as intensely as this one. Because of that alone, Blood Trail has already built its own identity. But you should know what you are buying. Blood Trail is currently not a story shooter with a deep campaign, lots of cutscenes, or a huge narrative. Right now, for me, it feels more like a brutal VR sandbox game. And that is exactly where the fun is. Walking around on different maps, experimenting with the systems, fighting enemies, and just messing around with the brutality is what makes the game so enjoyable. The game feels raw, dirty, hard, and direct. It is not polished in a mainstream way, and it is definitely not made for everyone. But if you are into brutal VR action, this game offers something that you can barely find anywhere else. That being said, you still have to be fair: the amount of content is currently limited. There are some weapons, and I do think the weapons feel good, but personally I would love to see a much bigger selection. A sniper rifle or just more weapon types in general would be really cool. According to the developers, more weapons and improved weapon systems are planned. One thing I also want to mention: I do not think people should immediately call this game “abandoned.” From what the developers have said, development has simply been more chaotic and slower than many people expected. They explained that they are a very small team, basically only two people working on the game. When you consider that they have reworked NPCs, gore, AI, guns, melee, and other systems multiple times, it makes sense why updates take longer. That does not automatically mean the game has been abandoned. Right now, they are working on a big melee update with unarmed enemies, new animations, and improved melee combat. After that, more systems, new weapons, and eventually story content are supposed to follow. So in my opinion, people should give this small developer team some understanding, as long as they continue to communicate that the game is still being worked on. So my opinion is this: if you expect a fully finished VR game with tons of content, a deep story, and a huge amount of variety, you may want to wait. But if you want an extremely brutal, hard-hitting, and unique VR sandbox experience, then Blood Trail definitely delivers what you are looking for. For people who cannot handle strong violence, this game is absolutely not for you. But for everyone who is looking for exactly this kind of dirty, brutal VR experience, Blood Trail is, in my opinion, absolutely worth recommending. Small note for everyone who has no sound: This is not necessarily the game’s fault. Windows sometimes does not automatically switch the audio output to the VR headset. Go into your Windows sound settings and manually change the audio output from your normal speakers or headset to the headphones of your VR headset. After that, the sound should work.
