Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Strap on your boots, don your helmet, adjust your shoulder guards and chest plate… and slip a sharpened dagger into your belt (discreetly).
Wars are no longer fought in the Old World since the populace decided to resolve their differences through a sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. However, just as much blood is shed in this sport as on the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, sorcery and even divine intervention are all fair game on the pitch, to the delight of every rabid fan!
An agent has spotted your coaching achievements on the pitch and has decided to pay for you and your team to participate in a brand-new Blood Bowl event: the Clash of Sponsors. Can you destroy your opponents and make the crowd dream?
As well as the campaign and friendly matches against other players or the AI, Blood Bowl 3 has an all-new competitive mode in which you can compete against other players of all levels and from all over the world:

Nothing could be said nicely here..
They just completely ruined the game with how cosmetics work.
Having refunded at launch, I picked it up again during this year's Skulls sale. Everyone knows how horrendous this game was at launch, and Cyanide absolutely deserved to be raked over the coals for what they pushed out - but Blood Bowl 3 today IS an improvement. The worst of the MTX has been reworked to be less predatory, and the player customisation is a marked improvement over Blood Bowl 2. HOWEVER the game still has a few fundamental issues that make it an unpleasant gaming experience. The UX is what kills it for me, a cluttered mess of overdesigned 'stuff' all over the screen. I get that they wanted to make it feel more like a sports game, but the game's readability and aesthetic suffers for it. Some of the character models are also just... weird. Clearly they were trying to stick as close to the GW tabletop models as possible but the result is Dark Elves with bibs, weird rubbery creatures, and the poor Chaos Warriors being reduced from towering slabs of muscle to comparatively emaciated meth-addicts.

I kinda wanted to post a positive review for this because frankly, I think that the Blood Bowl video game is fun (Especially if you are from a country like mine where the board game doesn't exist). However, since I always want to be honest I have to post a negative review for 2 reasons: 1) I don't know if it's just me but I think that the dice rolls are heavily manipulated to be against the player. I have played some Age of Sigmar, Kill Team and 40k and even I know that the dice don't s**w you quite as often (if you don't get what I'm saying, I got less bad situations in the board game than in the video game). 2) Micro-transactions. Some teams and customisation options are behind micro-transactions. I'm in general neutral about that because I always think that it's all about what they give. In this case, I'm more annoyed with the customisation options. You don't really see the players that well to excuse to have customisation options like these and especially going to the detail of customising shoulders and armbands. The biggest irony is that I can see why some people enjoy Blood Bowl. Funny satire, violent rugby (no, that's not football for me), probably some of the most fun creative stuff in GW's list. These are all here and are presented pretty well. But with all that said, I think that with roughly the same money, you can buy the team of your liking and find someone to play the board game with. TL;DR: While I can see deep down what makes Blood Bowl a fun game it's not best presented here. If you have fun with the game good for you. I'm giving it a 6/10.
Offline/campaign mode is ruined by a mandatory turn timer
Very slow/buggy AI- Unable to enjoy a game single player as waiting ages for AI to take a turn. Unfriendly UI. Games are painfully slow, needing to confirm every action. Poor customisation of teams with all players looking identical to each other with all alternative items locked- looks like a paywall for this which inst cool. Overall really disappointing. Blood bowl 2 is much better. I refunded for above reasons.
Ils ont réussi à créer un bloodbowl 3 moins bien que le 2 : - C'est un enfer de créer un championnat hors ligne - Le jeu est cher - Les commentateurs sont nuls - IA à la ramasse
Cash grab
Let me preface this by saying I enjoyed my time with this game so far. Playing in a twitch streamer's league has been an enjoyable time. And yet I can't recommend the game The pricing just hurts. I paid 20 buck up front, buying the most expensive edition on sale, then found out the teams I was actually interested in were bought with the premium currency. From what I read it seemed like a Marvel Rivals-esque system where multiple battlepasses are available at a time, and each lead to a free team. But no, only the most recent team is on the available battlepass. If you've owned this game from the start and put in your quarterly ~40 games you got all teams for free, but if you want to try multiple non-base teams as a latecomer, which are almost half of them at this point, you're gonna have to pay up 750 premium currency. Instead I laid out another 20 bucks to buy the team I wanted with fomo discounted optional cosmetics, some shiny dice and an additional team to change it up. Unexpectedly doubling the price I intended to spend before spending a second in an actual game. Of course I want the funny cheerleaders and the cool hat in the rotating shop, but then I do some math, the type premium currencies don't want you to do, and I got grossed out. The rotating shop is about a dozen items on individual timers, but there's also a whole list of apparel for your players available in their customization screens, for premium currency. I wish the rotating shop was bigger or didn't exist and I wish the price of digital cosmetics wasn't so ridiculously inflated. Premium cosmetics was originally a way to fund free games, it has no place in a paid entry game and I will never be cool with it, even as the systems successfully tempt me to spend some expandable income from time to time. Anyway, to put an end to my whiny rant, the rounds are long and entertaining, when they're not feeling torturous instead, I already have my money's worth out of the game and intend to play at least a few more days, I'm just screaming into the void, lamenting the current state of things while actively participating in them.
The same tired old 'it's definitely not rigged' dice rolls but now with no chance of backtracking team ending fatalities in single player. But the real step down from what was a frustrating but still fun game in BB2 is the gated content disguised as seasonal team releases. If you need your Blood Bowl fix either stick with BB2 or wait and hope the rebranded version in the works sorts out this mess.
