Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

worst game ever just play table top. I've never had these kind of dice my 10+ years of table top this game sucks
This game is terrible. Dice mechanic does not work, the UI is so bad, the lag means its like playing in the 80's using morse code. Dont bye this game, you pay $45 and then hit micro transaction hell. Love blood bowl was hoping to enjoy the game. Back to blood bowl II. - update, so game this morning saw me roll 6 ones in a row for blood lust in one turn. Yes the dice roller in this game is not faulty!!! or geared in favour for the AI.

After 56 hours played, I can say that Blood Bowl 3 works very well for what I personally need it for: practice. I play Blood Bowl on tabletop, and this digital version is a very useful tool to test positioning, understand probabilities, rehearse drives, and generally improve my decision-making between real-life matches. For that purpose, it does the job. The core mechanics are solid because, at the end of the day, it is still Blood Bowl. Where I have serious reservations is the team availability model. If you are starting now, you won’t have access to all teams. Some of them require real money to unlock. That feels restrictive, especially for a strategy game where variety of teams is part of the appeal. While it’s true that newer teams seem obtainable through the free seasonal pass, that system heavily favors players who have been there from the beginning. I am effectively ten seasons late. Even if I reach level 100 in the current season and earn the 1100 warpstones, that realistically gives me access to only one additional team. Catching up without spending real money feels very slow. So would I recommend it? Yes — if you are already a Blood Bowl player and want a digital training ground. Maybe — if you are new and expect full content access without additional purchases. The gameplay foundation is strong. The monetization model is the weak point.
An excellent PC rendition of the bloodbowl tabletop game that does a good job of showing core mechanics like blocking and marking. However I cannot recommend due to the egregious monetisation/microtranscation model. Half or more of the teams in the latest tabletop rules are locked behind a paywall and require additional payment to play. If I payed full price I'd be furious. Get on sale or if you are interested in learning the game with basic teams
Boot up the game, excited to recreate one of your favorite tabletop experiences. Welcome to microtransaction hell. Uninstall. Refund. No, thank you.
The others are right. Very bad UI, online issues, and the game feels less juicy and gritty than BB2, despite better graphics. They say Slytherine will save the day, I'll change my review to positive when they do it.
Blood Bowl 3 is a brutal, chaotic, and often hilariously unforgiving fusion of turn-based strategy and fantasy football, set in the wildly over-the-top Warhammer universe. Developed by Cyanide Studios, this third iteration aims to build on its predecessors by incorporating the latest rules from the tabletop game and offering a more modernized, polished digital experience. While the core gameplay retains its entertaining blend of tactics and randomness, Blood Bowl 3 stumbles in areas of technical execution and presentation, leaving an experience that’s equal parts thrilling and frustrating. At its heart, Blood Bowl 3 preserves the central hook that has always defined the franchise: gridiron mayhem where goblins, elves, orcs, and humans face off in a sport where the line between victory and mass violence is razor-thin. The game plays out in a turn-based format on a chessboard-like pitch, where every move—be it a pass, block, or dodge—is governed by dice rolls and probability. Success in Blood Bowl isn’t just about luck, though; it demands careful planning, understanding team strengths and weaknesses, and knowing when to take calculated risks. That moment-to-moment tension—balancing strategy with sheer chance—creates a unique and often intense gameplay loop that can swing wildly in either direction. The team variety is a major strength. Each race has its own identity and playstyle, from the agile but fragile Elven Union to the slow and brutal Chaos Chosen. This diversity offers immense replay value and encourages experimentation. Building a team, managing injuries, leveling up players, and investing in new talents over the course of a season creates a strong sense of progression. Fans of sports management will appreciate the customization options and long-term planning, while tabletop purists will enjoy the inclusion of the most recent official rule set (Second Season Edition), giving the game a sense of authenticity. Visually, Blood Bowl 3 is a noticeable step up from its predecessor. Stadiums are detailed and animated, character models are expressive and richly textured, and there’s a theatrical flair to how matches are presented. Every tackle, injury, and touchdown is exaggerated to comedic extremes, leaning into the absurdity of its setting. The commentary adds to the humor, though it can become repetitive after extended play. Still, the charm and irreverent tone that defines the series is very much alive, providing a grim yet goofy atmosphere that sets it apart from traditional sports or strategy games. Unfortunately, Blood Bowl 3 is marred by several technical issues and underwhelming launch features that have frustrated both veterans and newcomers. Server problems, UI bugs, long matchmaking times, and occasional crashes have made the multiplayer experience inconsistent. The game launched with fewer teams and customization options than expected, leading to criticism about its incomplete feel and reliance on future updates or paid DLC. While the developers have expressed a commitment to improving the game post-launch, many players feel the game wasn’t quite ready when it hit the market. Single-player content, while present, lacks the depth that some fans were hoping for. The campaign is a step forward in concept—offering structured challenges and a more narrative-driven approach—but it doesn’t fully deliver in execution. The AI can be inconsistent, either making baffling errors or ruthlessly punishing mistakes with uncanny precision. This makes the campaign more useful as a training ground than a fully satisfying standalone mode. Still, for players new to the series, it’s a decent way to learn the mechanics before stepping into competitive play. Despite its flaws, Blood Bowl 3 has a solid core. The tension of every dice roll, the thrill of pulling off a last-minute touchdown, and the sheer chaos of a match gone sideways all remind players why this franchise has such a dedicated following. When everything works, the game is exhilarating—no two matches ever feel quite the same, and the combination of strategic depth and slapstick violence is as addictive as ever. In conclusion, Blood Bowl 3 is a game with a sturdy foundation, ambitious ideas, and plenty of potential—but it arrives burdened with technical hiccups and design decisions that dampen its initial impact. Longtime fans may find enough here to warrant diving in, especially as the game continues to receive updates and content expansions. For new players, the barrier to entry can be high, both in terms of learning curve and current polish. However, with time and continued support, Blood Bowl 3 could evolve into the definitive digital version of this bizarre and beloved sport. Rating: 6/10
They just completely ruined the game with how cosmetics work.
