Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I liked this a lot - the gameplay and visual design are brilliant. It genuinely feels creative and innovative, and chimes with my personal values around the environment. However, it's fair to say it feels unfinished in places and like it's full potential might not have been reached. I would still recommend it though.
I like the game, i just didn't like the greenwashing plot but otherwise it's okay 6/10 game.

I see a lot of negative reviews. My honest experience with it is I had a lot of fun developing little self-sustaining communities. I like the look and sound of the game. It's not without it's quirks, and it definitely emphasized small plot vertically built balanced environments, but I really enjoyed what if offered. especially for something that goes on sale for less than five dollars.
Finished just enough to enjoy for 10 hours. Worth it at discount, even 10 becks
Be warned that this game has a lot of great potential, but it doesn't seem finished to me. The last patch was a long time ago, and I don't think the original developer is returning to update anything in it soon. This is a Sandbox game that tries to convey a story about building structures in balance with nature, and what happens when this balance is disrespected. The story is just okay. Some aspects are a big cringe to me. The original idea is good: balancing resources to get the stage at a sustainable point. Some resources are meant to be never used. For instance, how can you use "wilderness" to rebalance something else? The player ends up following a certain amount of the same recipes to get things working, but the number of synergies are small, and the stages end up being very close to each other. Besides, I think the full price is expensive for it. It's a good game to get in a sale.
Complexe mais sensibilisateur et instructif, ludique et poétique
I'll start by saying that I am not a fan of this type of games. City-builders are not for me, I don't like playing them even though the concept is interesting. But Block-hood managed to get and keep my attention. It is visually pleasing, and the sound desing is gorgeous as well. It's pretty easy to learn, and you can easily keep track of everything. You can ignore more advanced technologies if you want to make a friendly and easy-to-maintain neighborhood, or you could go a lot further with buildings that require a lot of thinking and preparation. The game is not without its flaws, for instance there are animals and people but they're useless since there are no consequences to ignoring their preferences. To me it's a good thing since I prefer more chill / easy games but if you're a more experienced player of this genre I'd highly recommend reading reviews left by people who know a lot better than me what they're talking about. But as a very casual player, this game is a gem, and extremely satisfying to play.
