Let's get the negatives out of the way: - The gameplay feels rough in a way that's hard to ignore. John Blacksad moves at an absolute snail's pace, frequently bumps into invisible walls, and navigating environments often feels really extra frustrating. - Interacting with objects is unnecessarily clunky. You constantly have to position yourself at the exact right angle and distance just to examine points of interest. - The game wastes a lot of your time with awkward design choices. Large areas are filled with empty space, making movement even slower and more tedious. - Examining objects can be irritating because you're sometimes locked into inspection animations and unable to immediately back out for several seconds. It sounds minor, but it becomes noticeable when you're investigating dozens of clues. The meh: - The investigation gameplay itself is serviceable but not particularly exciting. Most of the appeal comes from discovering the next story beat rather than the actual act of solving cases. Now for the positives: - The story is genuinely excellent. This is first and foremost a detective noir and the mystery kept me invested. - The atmosphere is fantastic. The game absolutely oozes style, capturing its noir-inspired world in a way that feels both distinctive and memorable. - The writing has a lot of charm. There's plenty of clever dialogue and personality. As a whole, Blacksad: Under the Skin is a game that I wanted to like more than I actually did. The frustrating part is that beneath all the technical issues and clunky gameplay is a genuinely great detective story. The world, characters, music, and atmosphere are good. But, the gameplay. The gameplay never stopped getting in the way. If you're here for a noir detective narrative and can tolerate a lot of jank, there's definitely something worth experiencing. Just be prepared for the journey to be much rougher than it should be. If I had to score it, I'd probably give it a 5.5 or 6 out of 10. A strong story trapped inside a subpar gameplay.

I LOVE THIS GAME - soundtrack - writing - art direction - how much love it shows to source material the only minus is it does not work on my PC, luckily it works on my roommates Pc I don't even mind Blacksad getting stuck on environment and walking slowly, whatever I enjoy the atmosphere I enjoy every minute I spend in this game when it works (not on my PC). I wish this game was not such bugged mess because I SO DEARLY WISH we could get more. This is the only story driven game I played where failures and quick time events actually felt meaningful and fun to play through. The creators really did something special right here, it just really needed some more time and few passes on fixing bugs, because again there is 50% chance of this game being unplayable due to random bug.
Игра очень сильно напомнила мне культовую The Wolf Among Us — здесь такая же затягивающая атмосфера, интересные персонажи и история, от которой сложно оторваться. Сюжет и общий стиль — это главные причины, почему проект мне действительно понравился, несмотря на кучу технических проблем. А проблемы тут серьезные. Оптимизация просто ужасная: фризы, просадки кадров и баги встречаются регулярно. Вдобавок к этому, управление сделано топорно и временами откровенно бесит. Разработчикам явно нужно выпустить еще с десяток патчей, чтобы довести техническую часть до ума. Если вы готовы закрыть глаза на техническую кривизну ради крутой истории в духе TellTale — играть однозначно стоит. Снижаю баллы только за техническое состояние, но саму игру рекомендую. (8/10)
The story of this game was amazing. It was the thing that kept me coming back... because it was the only good part of the game. The gameplay itself was abysmal. I tried every trick in the book to fix the QTE speed... only to be met with nothing that worked. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the story of this game and it felt very interactive, albeit linear. The characters were developed well, and it introduced me to a comic I otherwise wouldn't have read. I will be reading the original series because of this game.... but I am utterly disappointed by the game itself. Someone hire me to fix this. I'll do it! The story is wonderful and I found it very captivating! But seriously, some gameplay improvements would make this game a thousand times better.

A dear friend of mine told me to play this and it completely pulled me in. investigations were actually fun, putting the clues together felt rewarding, and the conversations made me think twice (or thrice xd) before making a choice. SOMEHOW I ended up with the worst ending, and the good part is I still didnt see it coming at all. I just sat there staring at the screen, It definitely wasnt the outcome I wanted, but it made the story even more memorable.
Простенький детектив со стилем, в целом понравилось. Есть пару моментов с лицевой анимацией во время некоторых диалогов и озвучкой (играла на русской, но иногда озвучка просто переключалась на английскую), но в целом игра оставила приятное впечатление
За что всего 67% позитива бедному Блэксэду?? Игрушка за $3 (по скидке) дает 10 часов ОФИГЕННОЙ истории! Это прям крутой и ненапряжный квест с кучей классных деталей! Игра настолько хороша, что она даже долларов 15 отбивает, на самом деле. Тут прям всё круто сделано: и персонажи, и юмор, и атмосфера, и музыка, и сама история, и геймплей. В общем, 9/10, смело берите.

Если оценивать эту игру честно больше 5 не дам. кривая камера отвратительные qte предсказуемый глав гад и но это уже традиция подобных игр твои действия практически ничего не делают. Но я не обьективен поэтому дарю 7 из 10. за нуар за детективную составляющую давно такого не видел только в шерлоке старом . За музыку за прикольную эстетику. Короче играть стоит, но не всем.
