Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Where My Journey with Devcats Began
I've played many games from Devcats over the years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the studio has mastered the art of creating simple, relaxing, and genuinely enjoyable experiences. However, A Castle Full of Cats will always occupy a special place in my memory for one very important reason: It was my first Devcats game. While I've since completed many other titles from the studio, this is the game that introduced me to their unique style and ultimately sparked my appreciation for this particular genre of hidden-object games.
A Relaxing Adventure Full of Cats
At its core, A Castle Full of Cats is exactly what its title promises: a castle filled with cats waiting to be discovered. The objective is simple. Explore the castle, search every room, uncover hidden felines, and gradually lift the curse affecting them. It's an accessible concept that anyone can enjoy, yet it's surprisingly satisfying from beginning to end. The game never tries to overwhelm the player with complicated mechanics. Instead, it focuses on creating a relaxing atmosphere where curiosity and observation are rewarded.
The Beginning of a Shared Hobby
What makes this game particularly meaningful to me is that it wasn't just my introduction to Devcats—it was also the beginning of something I started sharing with my wife. Together, we discovered how enjoyable it could be to sit down, search every corner of the map, help each other spot hidden cats, and slowly work toward completing the game. What initially seemed like a small hidden-object title became the start of many relaxing gaming sessions that we would later continue with numerous other Devcats releases. For that reason alone, this game carries a sentimental value that goes beyond its gameplay.
Simple, Charming, and Effective
One of the strengths of A Castle Full of Cats is that it never pretends to be something it isn't. The artwork is charming, the progression feels satisfying, and every new area encourages exploration. Finding the last few hidden cats can be surprisingly rewarding, especially when you think you've already searched everywhere. The game understands that sometimes players aren't looking for a challenge—they're looking for comfort, relaxation, and a pleasant way to spend a few hours.
Final Verdict
A Castle Full of Cats may not be the most complex game I've ever played, but it is certainly one of the most memorable. Not only because it introduced me to the wonderful catalog of Devcats games, but also because it became the starting point of a relaxing hobby that my wife and I continue to enjoy today. If you enjoy hidden-object games, adorable cats, and cozy experiences that can be completed at your own pace, this is an easy recommendation. For me, it will always be the game that started it all.

感谢朋友送的找猫猫游戏,这个游戏让我感觉自己火眼金睛,强得可怕,全成就不到三小时。还有boss战环节是我没想到的,难度不高,依旧休闲游玩。
As a cat lover, I was immediately interested in this cute hidden-object game, and it turned out to be a fun and relaxing experience. It is a cozy hidden-object adventure about rescuing cursed cats from a magical castle. The main gameplay is searching through rooms to find hidden cats. Some cats are easy to find, while others are cleverly hidden inside objects like books, boxes, drawers, and decorations. I enjoyed exploring every corner of the castle and discovering cats hiding in unexpected places. The zoom feature is very helpful because some cats are surprisingly small. I also liked the extra details, such as the different cat designs and the special hidden cats that require more careful searching. I highly recommend this game to players who love cats and puzzle games!
Most hidden object games are kind of basic, where you get a large canvas with a bunch of hidden things in it. This one actually surprised me! It's incredibly well done and has so much attention to detail and love in it! Every little cat that is hidden, has their own unique pose which changes when you find them, adding a bit more character to them! There are a lot of different rooms and themes, an actual story, side quests and pretty good music too. I did not expect so much depth with a hidden object game but it was fun!
I love it! It's a pretty relaxing game... well, until you can't find the last damn cat. Actually, on second thought, can I even call it a relaxing game if I needed a guide to get all the achievements? In any case: 10/10!
This was the first "A [blank] Full of Cats" games I played and I was genuinely surprised at how many actual gameplay elements there are in this game beyond "look at detailed lineart drawing and click on the cute cartoon cats". There's some fun puzzle-solving here! Heavily appreciate the extended Castlevania reference.
about 1.5 hrs to 100%. it's just hidden objects with cats.. mostly the same cats in various poses. final boss has a timed element which is obnoxious. some cats are hidden in objects so there's a lot of unnecessary clicking on things that have very small hit boxes. it's fine, if you like this kind of thing. for me it's a 5/10. maybe +1 for the cat costumes in the party scene.
