Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 55/day in the week to Aug 11 → 208.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute Greatest

great game
Do you like unbalanced games that love to waste your time? Are you hankering to watch bosses attack you while you patiently wait your turn for an opportunity? Want to have your quick reflexes rewarded with a giant middle finger? Maybe you want to experience what seems like an interesting story, but you have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what's going on. THIS GAME IS FOR YOU! I'll start with the cons because that's what made this game a mostly miserable experience.
CONS:
Combat The horrible feeling of the combat is honestly what ruined this game for me. After coming off of amazing combat in games like Lies of P, Stellar Blade, and Khazan...there's so much to be desired here. You're basically going to be spamming your light attack the entire game and I might be nit picking, but the timing of the light attacks pissed me off the entire game. There is a hint of a "parry", which they call "seeing through", but it's a really ♥♥♥♥ mechanic. Essentially, you have to try and time your attack so that you can try to parry as the enemy attacks you, but the stupidest part? Your parry can just miss entirely and it happens often. Your good timing gets rewarded with nothing. As you progress in the game, enemies start to jump away from you more often, so they can also just jump away from your perfectly timed parry or, even worse, attack you a bunch and then jump away. This game is FULL of long combos from enemies and bosses. I counted 12 attacks from a boss and then when it was my turn to attack, they jumped away and then started their next combo. It's just incredibly ♥♥♥♥ boss design and pacing. And if the boss isn't annoying enough, they give them some status effects, which make the fight even more miserable. Nobody likes to watch the boss do all the cool attacks while you sit and spam dodge. Someone described this game as a dodge simulator and that's perfectly put. Towards the end of your game, your strongest spells and attacks just get negated. The bosses can literally side step your most powerful attack and break out of spells that you've dumped skill points into. Navigation Some of these maps are so confusing and exhausting to trek through that I almost stopped playing, especially in Chapter 3. I'm obsessed with checking every nook and cranny and having no map isn't always a big deal, but so much ♥♥♥♥ looks exactly the same in this game. You don't remember where you've been or where to go next. A path splits into 3 directions. You choose one and it splits into 3 more directions. It's not fun to always be wondering which way is the way the game wants you to go to progress and which way may just have cool side quests or items to discover. And you CAN permanently miss some items if you don't explore enough before moving on. Sometimes you're running in emptiness for WAY too long and your character does NOT move at a fast pace. Story It seemed cool, but I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what was going on. I think if you knew more about Chinese myth it would have been more interesting. Music WHAT MUSIC. You will run around in silence most of the time.
PROS:
Beautiful environments, great English voice acting, very cool character, enemy, and boss models. The first 2 chapters are fun. That's it. This is the epitome of edging in a video game. It could have been SO good if the combat didn't feel so ♥♥♥♥. Spammy bosses and ♥♥♥♥ mechanics completely ruined it.
