BioShock is a shooter unlike any you've ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to grenade launchers and chemical throwers, but you'll also be forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 21 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I am really mixed on whether I want to continue this or not. I actually really like the game itself, but this version of the game I've been playing on Steam is terrible. It really sucks because I've really been enjoying the exploration and the world and environment itself is AMAZING. However, this game frequently crashes when you do something as simple as open a menu, and sometimes it resets your setting for no reason. You have to save manually frequently since there's literally only a checkpoint for each level, and when you load into a save looking around just feels odd. It also really feels like this game was meant for a console, the combat just doesn't feel right most of the time. It's really shame, I really like the game itself but the problems surrounding it are irritating.
It's a good game if you wanna try something different from a normal first person shooter game... I usually play Hitman, Halo or sometimes Call OF Duty but this game is really cool... And have some really good graphics as well.... Nice game... You guys must try...
Um homem joga BioShock, um escravo joga League of Legends.
Andrew Ryan is one of my favorite villains in all of gaming. Shooting gets repetitive, but one of my favorite narrative shooters of all time. Holds up well despite its age. Themes are more timely now than ever.
One of the first games I played when I got my original Xbox 360 and it became one of my favourites, I originally played it as a demo and I played it so many times, then got the original game later and loved the full game, in my opinion its a game everyone should play at least once because of how impactful this game was.
Just only the greatest game ever to release in history. Thank you Ken Levine and the dev team for putting together this masterpiece. Groundbreaking story telling and timeless graphics thanks to Rapture's awesome art deco design and some pretty awesome water physics for a game engine used in 2007. That was a run-on sentence but I don't care, this game is that cool. 10000/10
Unreal Engine – the worst game engine in history.
If it were up to me, I’d ban this trash software, along with "2K". Games from over 20 years ago run with a single click on modern hardware without any patches or headaches, but Unreal-based games are constantly complaining – either the hardware isn’t right, the graphics card isn’t the right color, the operating system is different, the screen resolution is wrong, or some other nonsense. I’m amazed by the incompetence of the developers behind the "BioShock" series. Whether it’s the original or the remaster – nothing really works properly. The entire "BioShock" series is a useless pile of junk code. P.S. And Unreal Engine 5 is the epitome of utter incompetence. There’s no doubt about it: Unreal Engine has no right to exist – at least not until the engine undergoes a complete overhaul of its philosophy. Just imagine what will happen in 10 years... I assure you, most UE5-based games won’t run on next-gen machines. The problematic performance of the "BioShock" series on modern machines is proof of that. And don’t even try to tell me that “the engine has become more advanced,” because that’s not true.
BioShock is one of those games that grabs you in the first ten minutes and just never lets go. Rapture is still one of the coolest, most unsettling places I’ve ever explored in a gam. Every hallway feels like it has a story to tell. The mix of gunplay and plasmids holds up surprisingly well and the atmosphere is just unmatched. Some of the combat shows its age, but the world‑building, the twists, the audio logs, it all comes together in a way that few games manage. An absolute classic that’s absolutely worth diving into again. [9/10]
