In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game is solid, if a bit shorter than BS1. Plot and characters all good. But I give a negative review because of the crashing: during the ten hours or so it took me to finish it, it crashed probably a hundred times. Got to a point where when defending little sisters, I had to stare at the ground and rely on turrets and bees to defend them because actually fighting the splicers seemed to trigger the memory failure causing the game to fail. Tried all listed techniques - one most stable was the DXVK directx-to-vulkan library. Didnt fix it, but the game became stable enough to finish (still with frequent quick saving, i.e. once every 30 seconds to a minute). Some core issue buried in the code there, somewhere.
The story is a bit less interesting than the first one, but the overall gameplay is much better. So much fun. 10/10
This game is tedious. Collect the little sister. Take her to the gather point. Set up traps. Okay, kill boring bullet spongey enemies. Okay. Now. Do that again. Now do it 6 more times this level, then do it again but harder. Oh, and use the research camera, no, not like that, do it better. This game has about 30 minutes of content per level, but forces you to spend 2 hours on each if you don't want to be resource starved.
Mejor que el primero!
Story mid. DLC good.
I think that this game is what that one clip about how video games "induldge the male fantasy" was about. I sure as hell want to be a sick-ass robot girl-dad who would do anything to save his adopted-daughter. Maybe if we were all a bit more like (good-ending) Delta, the world would look the utopia both Ryan and Lamb wanted to achieve, but were too selfish to bring about. Seriously though, Lamb is such an evil witch, an excellent villain, and an excellent foil to both Ryan and Delta. An excellent villain is basically everything you need to have an excellent story for a video-game, but then the devs went and bioshocked all over the place and made a masterpiece in both story and gameplay. It's criminal that this game isn't held up as one of the all-time greats.
The game itself is amazing, but sadly crash-ridden. Downloading a fan-made patch from Nexus Mods fixed the issue for me.
