In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

So many people ,including myself misjudged this game when it came out,but years later I realise that this is a fantastic game on par with the other two
Didn't think that much of it when I first played it on console but after revisiting it I really enjoyed it. The gameplay really carries this game because almost everything else is just kinda meh. The story is less memorable and clever than the first, the game is too reliant on defence missions, it’s not very challenging on the hardest difficulty and the remaster has crashing problems which I remember from the console version. although there is a mod that I downloaded and the game didn't crash once. https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock2/mods/28 I say check out this game if the premise of playing as a Big Daddy sounds cool to you. AND DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE MINERVA'S DEN DLC.
Bioshock 2 as a sequel is a good example of streamlining what worked and removing most clunk of the original. Set years after Bioshock 1, you finally get to play as a mascot of the franchise, Big Daddy Alpha, having to rescue his former Little Sister while fighting off the cult of Sofia Lamb in a now deteriorating Rapture. While the story can be debated whether its criticisms of collectivism and the general story are as good as the first, I do think the more personal angle makes it more engaging to play through. Having a proper history with this city, the characters and a goal that gets rightfully rewarded at the end. Gameplay-wise it's almost one to one the original, just with some new toys to play with. Plasmids are almost the same as before, but your weapons are new with new upgrades, ammo types and more. Most of them more interesting to use, and especially handy now that you can dual-wield a weapon & plasmid at once. Really smoothens the combat out. Same goes for other stuff like hacking or the little sisters, either making it less tedious or more interesting. There's overall just a lot of small changes that improve the whole experience. As a remaster it's good, better graphics but lacking the multiplayer portion. The other DLC is there though so it's losing a niche multiplayer portion for a mostly singleplayer game. The games do go for cheap so if it goes on discount, I recommend grabbing it. Arguably the best of the whole series.
No es tan bueno como el primero, pero es una digna secuela
I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun survival action horror! If you've played the first one than this is a must play! The BioShock Series is my favorite game series of all time and I've bought this game as well as it's prequel and spiritual sequel on multiple platforms. All the games are JUST. THAT. GOOD! I enjoy this one for fleshing out Rapture more and giving us a glimpse at other parts of rapture we didn't get to see in the first game! I also love being a tanky big daddy and showing the splicers a thing or two for trying to mess with the little sister I'm protecting. If you liked the first one, you'll definitely like this one!
Absolut Zeitlos, macht vieles besser als der erste Teil und ist ein würdiger Abschluss für Raptor. Nur die häufigen Abstürze sind echt kacke. 9/10
